Sometimes B&W is the only way to go. Photos taken at Yosemite NP this Fall. Color was ok but when I chose B&W it seemed to shine.

Those are two wonderful shots!
Thank you very much mcmama. Arianna and her mom very also very pleased.
I had a chance meeting with this aspiring music artist when I ran out of gas, one gallon left, and her mom was able to help me find a station out in the boonies. I felt so relieved I handed her a business card and offered to do family portraits. We were going to be in the area for 3 days and I wanted to return their kindness. I received a call the next morning from one of the daughters of this kind lady. The daughter, Arianna, had recently graduated with a BFA in music and having completed her debut album needed a photo for the album. I couldn't believe my luck. Arianna, her sister, and a tall handsome friend of the family set out for 2-1/2 hours of fun in a local park. I am posting just a couple of the multitude of images. These may not make the cover but I like them.
Beautiful free spirit. She will be a wonderful model for years to come.
Great set of images and I am sure wonderful memories

Agree with Bob on #1, the shadows are a distraction. #3 is your winner.
Don
Thanks PAR4DCR, that appears to be the consensus of everyone, even the model.

I also like number 3, the lighting is better. The other ones, it's distracting.
Thanks Moondoggie, like your "handle"

I think there are too many shadows across the face on the first photo. Second seems a bit soft around the eyes, but that third one is very, very good. All in all, they are all good.
Thank you willaim for looking and your comments.
