I'm about to head to PA for three days of ukulele, and I can't wait! No housework, no yard work, and no triplet of dogs to deal with. I'm also visiting the Boyertown Auto Museum and taking a ukulele train ride. For that, I'll be bringing my 1950 Wabash (made on Wabash Ave, Chicago) ukulele since we'll be playing railroad songs, like "Wabash Cannonball."

My Honda Fit is stuffed with ukuleles, music, computer, cameras, clothing, and food. Let the driving begin! Hopefully, I'll be returning with lots of pictures.

I am really pleased and grateful to you for giving helpful and interesting information, to try to learn about the goings on in other parts of the world. Here in England we don't have gun stores like we see in the US. As you probably know our laws on guns are very strict, in fact, I do not know anyone at all who owns a pistol/hand gun wh**ever they are. In fact I don't know if you are aware, our everyday policeman and policewomen are not armed. It's police who are on special duties that are armed. The only time i see an armed police officer is at the airport when I go on holiday. The only firearms I have seen in the public are twelve bore shot guns that are used for pheasant shooting and the like. I'm told it isn't easy to obtain a shotgun or firearms certificate.

You mentioned the drugs problem, it is a major problem here too, as it is all over the world. It will get worse IMO because the profits are astronomical and the drugs are getting more and more demanded through addiction, it's big business isn't it. If only the governments could turn the clocks back a few years and address the situation as it should have been in it's infancy.

You need a firearms certificate issued by the police to possess, buy or acquire a firearm or shotgun. You must also have a certificate to buy ammunition.
How to apply
You can get a firearm or shotgun certificate application form from the firearms licensing unit of your local police force.

You must:
complete an application form
provide 4 passport photographs
have 2 referees for a firearm certificate and 1 referee for shotgun certificate
pay the fee for the certificate you are applying for
You can get the fees from your local police force. The fee amounts can be found from the firearms licensing unit of the police force where you live.

You must also prove to the chief officer of police that you’re allowed to have a firearms certificate and pose no danger to public safety or to the peace.

A shotgun certificate won’t be given or renewed if the chief officer of police has a reason that you shouldn’t be allowed to have a shotgun under the Firearms Act. Or if they don’t think you have a good reason to have, buy or acquire a shotgun.

A certificate usually lasts 5 years from the date it was issued or renewed.

Conditions
Your certificate will include a photograph of you and information about the firearm(s) or shotgun(s) you have in your possession.

You must:

follow any condition attached to the certificate (the chief officer of police can vary these conditions at any time by giving notice in writing)
be able to show your firearm or shotgun certificate if asked by the police
You must have a European Firearms Pass if you want to travel within Europe with your guns. You can apply for this at the same time as your firearms certificate.

European firearms passes are normally valid for 5 years or the length of your firearm certificate - whichever is shorter.

You can renew a European firearms pass by applying to the chief officer of police in your local police force.

Certain firearms are completely prohibited. You won’t be able to get a licence for them and it is an offence to possess, buy or acquire them without the authority of the Home Secretary.

The HELL with the BS, let's get down to Business

I like the way this is phrased because it recognizes that the political class are "bought and paid for". I believe that the basic premise is correct: If you listen to Trump, he is hitting many of the hot buttons of the e*****rate. But you have to listen to him and not be distracted by his showmanship and obnoxious behavior.

I like the list of 13 things that I, as a senior American citizen, want.
Trump is at least talking about issues that most Americans are concerned about. My mantra about Trump is this: T***hfully, We are usually in agreement with most of what he says but wish someone else was saying it. We are offended by his brash manner. We are getting older and our tickers aren't what they used to be, but what matters is that he covers most of the 13 things we as seniors want – at least I do for sure.
1. Hillary: held accountable for her previous wrongs!
2. Put "GOD" back in America !!!
3. Borders: Closed or tightly guarded!
4. Congress: On the same retirement & healthcare plans as everybody else.
5. Congress: Obey its own laws NOW!
6. Language: English only!
7. Culture: Constitution and the Bill of Rights!
8. Drug Free: Mandatory Drug Screening before & during Welfare!
9. Freebies: NONE to Non-Citizens!
10. Budget: Balance the damn thing!
11. Foreign Countries: Stop giving them our money! Charge them for our help! We need it here.
12. Fix the TAX CODE!
And most of all.
13. "RESPECT OUR MILITARY AND OUR F**G!!"
