Here in the Minneapolis area there are several bridges that are lit at night.
The Famous 35W bridge was lit this past weekend in the colors of the French Flag, to show support for France.
The second Bridge is the Lowry Avenue Bridge at Sunset, and after sunset

Hi,, a little post processing can help, but the others are correct in
that a change in exposure on the camera,, making sure to
meter on the rider, ,not the background,,
and perhaps, changing the time of day or the angle you are shooting from, to get the sun behind you, to help light up the subject
I hope you don't mind me adjusting your shot, ,
these are great subjects that take some patients to get it right

This Bob Dylan Mural was completed this summer in Downtown Minneapolis. I had a camera class assignment to shoot "Reflections", so I took a few while I was downtown admiring the mural..
The mural is (6) stories high,,
Just a note, the third shot was captured as a light rail train when by at a fairly high speed,,

I've been playing with "Reflection" pics lately,,

ok, ,I agree,, but I guess what I meant was, ,that the "ghost" was in the actual pic, ,not added by photoshop,,
This was a fun experiment,, where I had my "Ghost' model,, stand behind the statue,, I set the camera for a long exposure, about 15 seconds,,
and then had her peek out,, for about 8 or 9 seconds, to get a "Ghosted" image,, and then yes,, I did clean up the grass and fence, as there was a post there,, that I didn't like,

I have an assignment from my photo club this month to shoot images in Cemeteries,,
I have not experience with this type of shooting,,so it may be fun.

Hi,,
I just tried this on my hummer feeder,
I use Peppermint oil,, and it seems to be working
the Bees, still are swarming around the feeder, but now landing on it.
The humming bird didn't seem affected by it.
Peppermint oil works to keep mice out of places too.
I use it in my camper in the off season.

here are a few more from that trip,,
as you can see, ,being foggy and dark, ,on a moving train, makes for tough shooting conditions, ,hard to get fast enough shutter to keep the blur away, ,I guess I should have asked the Engineer to slow down, ,lol
oh yes, and of course Bridal Veil Falls,, loved the view of that
