I shot this photo from a moving train,
The White Mountain Rail Road, in Skagway Alaska.
A foggy morning for the ride up the mountain,
made for some "interesting" shots.

Nice picture. I like howthebridge just materializes out of the fog. Now I'm expecting to see a ghost train comming out of that fog.

That's a lovely shot. The fog really makes it.
I hope it cleared up a little bit for your trip back down.It's a gorgeous ride. We used to do it a couple times a year and never tired of it. Always a new perspective.

Just for your information: From what I can see of it, this is the old Dead Horse Gulch bridge. The railway is called The Whitepass & Yukon Route.

I took that ride 30 some years ago when the train went to Whitehorse.

Didn't have a chance to take it down hill.

I have a couple shots of the same bridge in sunlight. Do you mind if I attach them so people can see what it's like when not foggy? Mine aren't as dramatic by any means.

Oh, I like that! Love the way the bridge disappears into the fog. There is also some movement blur in the foliage. Nice touch, that. Very good image.
