Link not working for me. I do have a Carry Speed with the foldable plate. After using many brands I have settled on this strap. It is the most comfortable one I have used. It will handle your set up with no problems and is worth very penny.

Thanks for the feedback. I did fix the link problem.

I will go to B&H and check this out and also look at two other straps by Black Rapid and Joby...

I like the video that Carry Speed presents about all the features. I did see some negative posts online about the mounting plate in their first generation design.

The thing is to get real responses like yours and to physically look at what you're considering buying...

I'm interested in this strap and have some others in mind.

http://joby.com/camera-straps/ultrafit-sling-strap-for-men/

I like the simplicity in this design but I'm not sure if the price is right and if the strap is really that functional. Since they make a whole bunch of other products I'm just convinced that this is the way to go.

If anybody out there has this strap I sure would like to hear from you and get your opinion.

Thank you for helping me make an experienced decision!

I'm interested in getting a good camera strap and I've come across this:

FS-PRO camera sling strap with F-1 foldable mounting plate ---
http://www.carryspeed.com/products

I would like to know if anybody out there has this and how they feel about it? It's a bit pricey, but money doesn't really matter if it keeps your neck from screaming and holds your camera secure. I would be using it on a Canon 5D Mark III and 70-200mm lens setup.

Any feedback would be highly appreciated. Thank you!

I also have some other straps in mind like the JOBY and BLACK RAPID but would like your answers regarding the CARRY SPEED for now.

I could us help to find a tripod and head, I have figured the most weight I would have on a tripod would 6lbs at the most. And would you recommend and ball head or a pan head. Also would like to know the brands that most people like. Thanks for your opinions.

I have a Manfrotto Carbon fiber because it absorbs vibration better than aluminum and and is also lighter. I costs a bit more but the added cost is worth it in the end. Match up a good Manfrotto ball head... I don't know exactly which model ball head I have because I'm at work. The tripod is the 55CX Pro I think...

Every time I see an image with selective color, I have to stifle my gag reflex, but this may have exceeded even that threshold:

But you don't have to like it! Live and let live. I have had to use it a few times just to emphasize an item...

Very nice. Love that sunset.

Thank you!

We had some drinks and appetizers in this restaurant, La Rosa Nautica, that juts out into the sea. It's one of the finest in Miraflores, Lima. It's expensive but well worth the treat.

Here's a choice few images from my trip to Peru. I dragged my tripod up and down Machu Piichu unmolested but since I had been hooked up to a tour group I never got to use it. You have to keep up with a moving guide and I never did have time to set up. But it's OK, there were lessons to be learned, because I want to do it again. :P
One of the issues I had asked UH about, regarding being able to charge my batteries, turned out to be non-issues. Most chargers, I found out, can be used 110v or 220v. And the plugs in Peru didn't need an adaptor. I was able to plug everything I need from Apple and Canon right into the wall, no problem.
I want to thank everyone that gave me feedback.
Aside from these selected images here is also a link to a flickr. com slide show. If you view it Fullscreen so much the better.
Peace... 8-)

Looking down on Cuzco proper from Saqsaywaman. Elevation3,701 m (12,142 ft) It's curious to note that Machu Piichu's elevation is only 2,430 metres (7,970 ft) above sea level in comparison.
