I'm interested in getting a good camera strap and I've come across this:

FS-PRO camera sling strap with F-1 foldable mounting plate ---
http://www.carryspeed.com/products

I would like to know if anybody out there has this and how they feel about it? It's a bit pricey, but money doesn't really matter if it keeps your neck from screaming and holds your camera secure. I would be using it on a Canon 5D Mark III and 70-200mm lens setup.

Any feedback would be highly appreciated. Thank you!

I also have some other straps in mind like the JOBY and BLACK RAPID but would like your answers regarding the CARRY SPEED for now.

Link not working for me. I do have a Carry Speed with the foldable plate. After using many brands I have settled on this strap. It is the most comfortable one I have used. It will handle your set up with no problems and is worth very penny.

Thanks for the feedback. I did fix the link problem.

I will go to B&H and check this out and also look at two other straps by Black Rapid and Joby...

I like the video that Carry Speed presents about all the features. I did see some negative posts online about the mounting plate in their first generation design.

The thing is to get real responses like yours and to physically look at what you're considering buying...

The reason I like the folding plate is that I also use a Sider Holster and the ball fits both the Speed carry and the spider. It is also arca compatable. :)

I looked at the Spider Holster. That's a pretty neat arrangement as well. Thanks for all this cool information. Excellent!!!

I'll be running to B&H tomorrow to check out the Speed Carry, for sure...

I use the Carry Speed FS-Pro with my Nikon D7000. I find it extremely comfortable. It is made very well and works perfectly with my Sirui tripod mounting plate. I find it amusing that someone wanting to use it on a Canon 5D Mark III with a 70-200mm lens refers to it as being a "bit pricey."

Well what I meant was, pricey compared to some of the others out there like the Black Rapid $59.95 or one by Joby $49.99.

Believe you me, it took a lot of doing to buy that Canon 5D Mark III. It's all the add-on that suck the wallet dry though.

What I'm really after is something comfortable and SECURE.

Thanks for your comments. I'm sold on the Carry Strap...

How many shades of green are there? Taken outside Cusco, Peru...

Agree 100%. I am currently on vacation and have one attached to my D300s (with battery pack) and70-200mm right now. I have been doing a lot of hiking and sight site seeing and am glad I got it. It is very comfortable and at times I forget i have my camera with me. In the past I used the standard camera strap, always slipping and dug into shoulder. Highly recommend this unit. My Black Rapids is back home in the closet.

Look at Op/tech - lots of flexibility, lots of function.

I've been using the Carry Speed for about 6 months and I'm completely satisfied. With the Carry Speed plate mounted to the bottom of my Canon T2i, I'm completely confident that it is as secure as it could possibly be. And with the Manfrotto tripod quick release connected to the plate, attaching and removing the camera from the tripod is quick and easy. I highly recommend it.

I bought the Carry Speed with folding plate last October at the PDN Photo Expo in New York. The inventor was there demonstrating it. I use it all the time and love it. I spent most of yesterday with my Olympus E-30, battery grip and a very heavy 50-200 lens. With a regular strap I would have had a very sore neck and shoulder.

I use this strap and plate for my D4, D600 with grip and D7000 with grip and have found it to be absolutely wonderful.

Just adding my two cents to the already good reviews on the carry speed. I use it with a nikon d600 that usually has a 28-300 lens mounted and as someone said, you almost forget you're carrying a heavy camera.
