I have been digitizing my photo collection which is literally thousands of negatives and slides. I took this photo circa 1977. I was experimenting with a Yashica twin lens reflex. I know the photo is not quite straight and the 45 years have not been good for the negative, but it still has an emotional impact to me. Comments and criticisms (good or bad) are welcome.

Interesting image.

At least they are happy to participate! I think the color might win out in this one.
Great street action.

While digitizing old slides & film, I found this one. It's a snapshot, so don't expect high IQ.

Nice one Jeff.

Nice picture in B&W. Interesting the garbage cans are close to the tables. The fire escaspe iron adds spice to the picture. New Orleans?

I agree that its not rocket science if you are already using a versatile camera. All cameras are rather similar. But I would sympathize with those whose only photo experience is their phone.

Bought Buschs book a year before buying into the new Z system. Nikons marketing materials didnt usefully answer half of my questions. Asking other users on a forum hardly helps much more.

So I urge you to check anything you hear here against your book, or ask the book first *before* asking the forum. That way your question is more specific.

I agree with reading a book before your purchase. I moved from a Nikon F2 to a Z 6ii. Orginally I was interested in the Nikon 850, but after reading books on both cameras, I selected the Z6ii. Perhaps the Z6ii fitted my hand better.
I still use my 3 F2's and my C-500 midsize for large blow-ups. However, I like the lowlight cababilities of my Z6ii with my Z 35mm f/1.8 S lens.
