Selling my Nikon D7100.
* Excellent condition, well cared for
* Shutter count approx: 13,725
* Purchased 04/2014 (I am the original owner)
* Original box and boxed items included
Lenses:
* Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 in excellent condition with box and paperwork
* Nikkor 18-70mm 1:3.5-4.5G ED lens
Also have several books and a Photobert card as well.

Having received feedback from UHH members, the items are now offered separately.

Nikon D7100 with Nikkor Lens: Asking $500
Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 Asking $200.00

Having upgraded to full frame, neither lens will work with the D810. It is better that someone enjoy these rather than sitting on my shelf.

A huge 'Thank you' to everyone for your responses to my questions, etc. I have never sold camera items before so this was a definite learning experience.

Shipping from zip 99705 with tracking preferred. Purchaser pays shipping.

Unfortunately there is only one brick and mortar camera store in my home town. It's return policy is not the best in my humble opinion. Shopping on-line at B&H is a much better experience..no hassle and a great return policy!.

Just wanted to say I share your frustration. While I find all of the controls on my camera useful, it is very easy to switch things up especially in the dark or wearing gloves in the extreme cold. Here in Alaska many of the attractions are outdoors in minus 30 degree weather. I have yet to find a pair of gloves thin enough to provide warmth and allow me camera operations. Apparently we do learn from our mistakes.

Ranjan's information posted here sure clarifies a few things for me. My new D810 developed a rattle in the flash unit shortly after I received it. Nikon denied it was defective, refused to repair it and sent it back unrepaired. Strangely, it no longer rattles. Thanks for the info Ranjan.

My tripod legs are always wrapped in pipe wrap if it is not already supplied by the manufacturer. You don't want to be touching cold metal in minus 30 degree weather.

Congratulations on your new D7200! I also want to suggest the David Bush book.
David's writing style is very conducive to learning. The first accessory I purchase for a new camera is David's book. There is always a lot to learn and his book always helps me master it.

The Nikon MB-D12 battery power pack was part of the Nikon D810 promotional offering this past holiday season. Both were ordered on December 03, 2017.
The D810 arrived on December 11. The MB-D12 is still on order. I spoke with the store owner today (February 5, 2018), and he informs me he is having difficulty
getting an allocation for this. He stated he has been working with his Nikon rep but to-date, no availability. In checking the Nikonusa.com website it states the following:
"Due to Physical Inventory, there will be a slight delay in order processing. Orders received will be shipped out on or around February 5, 2018. We apologize for the inconvenience."
I am beginning to wonder if Nikon has a manufacturing problem or some other problem causing such a long delay. Will I ever get the MB-D12?
Has anyone else experienced this situation? If so, what are my options to speed this along (if any).

BTW, yes, I am the poster regarding the rattle in the D810 flash housing. Nikon service stated it is not a problem and returned the camera unrepaired (so they stated).
Interestingly though, the camera no longer rattles.

Looking to purchase a full frame super zoom lens for the Nikon D810 and D750 (my new equipment). I did recently purchase the Sigma 24-70, f2.8 DG OS HSM art lens and really like it. It has been excellent for portrait shots. I have a Nikkor AF-S 70-300mm 4.5-5.6 G ED VR that was used on my D7100 and works full frame as well.

So what is your opinion regarding the following choices:
1). Nikkor AF-S 200-500mm f5.6 E ED VR ($1396.95 at B&H) OR
2). Sigma 150-600mm f5-6.3 DGOS HSM Contemporary ($989.00 at B&H and also with a 1.4 tele-converter at $1289.00) unsure about tele-converter for this lens OR
3). Sigma 150-600mm f5-6.3 DGOS HSM Sport ($1799.00 at B&H and also with a 1.4 tele-converter at $2229.00 ) Sigma's with tele-converter become 210 to 840mm (assuming I read that correctly).

Is there a significant difference between the two Sigma's to justify the major price difference? Weather sealing is a plus for Alaska but not for one thousand dollars difference. Any suggestions for other lenses to consider?
I am not independently wealthy so money IS a factor.

Usage: wildlife (moose, bear, other critters as I am not wanting to become their dinner). Also landscapes, scenic, and sports. We have incredible wildlife (both land and sea) as well as scenics here in Alaska so am thinking about summer trips to see as much as possible.

Opinions and comments appreciated! Thank you.

In my humble opinion you get what you pay for in a lens. I would stick with Nikon. It's good to see all the comments regarding the d70s still operational.
