Thanks for the great reminder. Personal safety comes first when chasing that one-in-a-million shot.
Great topic! I am by no means a professional portrait photographer but sometimes thinking out of the box yields amazing results. Ice and snow make wonderful back drops for kid photography. They are enjoying the snow, etc so do not notice the camera. This photo is a sample of that. He posed himself and I just took the photos. Comments welcomed.
Great topic! Really interesting to see others 'perspective' on this topic. I am by no means a professional portrait photographer but I do find snow and ice to be a great
backdrop for kids. It lets them have fun while being photographed. I have several great pics as samples but felt uncomfortable posting a child's photo on the internet.
You will just have to imagine it or hopefully go out and try it for yourself. Sorry!
Great pics everyone posted...enjoyed them all.
The problem with some brick-and-mortar stores especially without the competition of other similar stores, is the return policy. Once you walk out the door, it's yours even if it's defective . Instead of an exchange it gets returned to the manufacturer for service. Mail order works just fine and no sales tax. I love B+H. The problem is when you don't know what specific item to buy you can't check them out first.
Fantastic shot. What lens are you using?
Oh WOW!! Great shots! What lens are you using?
Unfortunately my experience with Paypal has been less than stellar. This is why I do not purchase on ebay.
I would be interested in your response from Sigma as well.
If it's too good to be true it usually isn't. I wouldn't waste my thousand dollars... just my two cents worth.
For Aurora photos, printing on metal pops the colors making them more vibrant.
Grand Central has some amazing ceiling art. The clock and info booth in the main hall are iconic subjects as well. I would bring the camera with the most reach. But, as someone stated you want to enjoy the visual more than the focusing on your camera.
Thank you everyone for your responses. Having never sold camera equipment before, this was a real learning experience.
The bundle is now unbundled on the for sale site.
