Two Raptors and a Magpie
In Alaska last week, it was cold, rainy and in the 40's every day...maybe better weather in September next time. Just thought I'd pass along a few pictures.

Yep, saw all three seasons, loved it and I think they are planning to do more. The Island scenery is beautiful if you like sparse but nonetheless its interesting and colorful, some great shots of Glasgow also. BTW, check out the Netflix Series, 'Tales by Light'.....great photo shoots and how they do it.
I currently have & use a Tamron 150-600mm and love it and do an extensive amount of walking. I'm currently using a Black Rapid shoulder strap to cart this thing around, connects directly to the lens. Hey, its still somewhat bulky but the wide shoulder strap distributes the weight pretty well and its always ready to shoot off hand if needed. Have you considered a VEST? There are many out there for larger cameras & lenses. Hope this helps and good luck.
Hello, just found this website and it looks extremely informative & interesting and joined. I'm a retired Navy Officer (25 years) including Army service in Vietnam. I've traveled extensively and continue to travel even more extensively now, it that's possible. Traveling is my primary hobby and learning better photography....and combining them both. Strictly an amateur photographer for my own personal enjoyment. Started in high school with a Kodak No. 1A Jr. Folding Camera then progressed through various models from Yashica IC, Asahi Pentax early K series, Canon AE-1 and A-1 and numerous p&s cameras. Photographically dormant for many years, just picked up again a few years back and now I currently have a Sony A77ii, a Sony A6500, various Sony, Minolta and lenses including a Tamron 150-600mm. Primary interest is in wildlife, landscapes and general street photography, especially architecture (doors & windows) in countries around the world.
Glad to be here and hopefully I can learn something and hopefully even contribute sometimes
