Great points, all, good comments all. Money no object? Heck yeah, buy anything you want but one thing is certain, the camera doesn't make the photographer, its only a tool, the best tools always help but only if you know how to use them. I would love to have worked with a professional, especially starting out, versus watching a video....on hands, in field experience learning techniques with a pro beats a video any day. Sadly, not all will be able to work with a pro but hands on classes and videos are available. I offer this versus a gun analogy....I learned to fly not by watching a video but by an instructor there to guide me, glad I did. Flying and photography is only analogous in that its best to learn the basics before you get into the more complex. But for now I will have to continue to practice with what cameras I have, although not cheap for my budget, but definitely not nearly in the 850 class....'If you got it, flaunt it, may not be a good photographer but at least you'll look the part' 🙂🙂
Thanks and more than welcome Framer
Thanks Bruce for the info, appreciate the comments. Glad its working for you....since my personal requirements don't require the need for 'Cloud' services and I don't want to pay extra for storage, I'll stay with LR6 and look at other options if need be...top of the day to ya pardner, finally a day here in Florida without wind & rain 🙂
Thanks, it was cool, especially in a historical way, not to mention the really cool cathedral
Yes I have a subscription to Netflix, its what I want. No I don't have a subscription to Adobe's Cloud services or even Microsoft's for Office. Seems to me that if you need Adobe's CC versus their standalone version, you'll use whatever suits your business/personal needs. I have been using LR6 and am always enticed to move to the Cloud, seems like daily. Since my requirements are not professional and primarily personal use only, I've consistently refused to move to a SaaS for LR and paying a monthly fee for basically 'minor' updates....doesn't make economic sense, TO ME. I would prefer to pay an appropriate fee for a 'Major' update every two-three years or so versus being Nickeled & Dimed to death, again My Opinion....however seems the future of many applications is subscriptions, its definitely a money maker. Just think when you have about 5-10 subscriptions/Applications you're paying for and as your requirements evolve, maybe some of those programs are used less & less and yet you're still paying for them, especially if you forget to cancel the ones you're not using, not that that would ever happen to me 😊. If it gets to the point that LR6 is no longer meeting my requirements, I'll move to another standalone software and there are many programs out there to purchase (just another learning curve to master).
Beautiful Photos, great place to visit and so picturesque....was there a year back and loved it
Thanks Cibafan, appreciate it
Beautiful pictures, simply amazing
You may be right and I can't wait to go back for at least a second time maybe even a third time if I get the chance. Northern Arizona Southern Utah are just wonderful places to visit
Yes he does and since I was there, I was going to visit....truly enjoyed the visit, the cathedral and the tomb, thanks
...only recently though. However its true American history, can't be changed, shouldn't be changed or erased and should be studied. all views. I was amazed at the reverence the Spanish gave to CC even though he was Italian. The Cathedral was awesome although dark, very dark. Mass was going on when we were there and couldn't get any closer at that time.
Thank you cameriapapi, appreciate the compliment....even a bling hog (me) roots up an acorn now and then
Since there's so much about changing and revising American History today and with NYC 'thinking' about eliminating the CC Statue, I thought I'd post a picture (taken in April) of one of his places of final internment in the Seville Cathedral, although no telling how many pieces of his body are left.
Columbus Tomb Seville Catherdral
Thank you and yes it does....I was really hoping for a stagecoach 😊😊, maybe next time
