Nice beautiful set, love #3, so serene
Excellent photos, Albuquerque is such a fun place and obviously you're having way too much fun....have you been south to the Bosque? Great birding down there during the migrating season
Beautiful pictures, nice shots, love the color, similar to what is seen in Rhineland Germany where their fall colors are also their vineyards, thanks for sharing
Awesome little bird Gawler, how did you ever get them to line up and pose (#4)....great photo, definitely worth the hunt & wait
Gitchigumi, I'm continuing my use my Canon Nanoscan since it gives me excellent results and as a previous poster posted, the slides need to be as clean as possible to get the best results. However, I am going to try the camera, board, LED light setup, its looks like a fun project and who knows, maybe even I can put something together that actually works....🙃🙃
Brent, now that looks like an interesting little set up, Rube Goldberg would be proud. 'Necessity is the mother of invention.' I may take some of my equipment and try a set up like that, something interesting to create and do...great job btw. Now if there were just a way to rapidly send the slides through, would you be working on that? 🙂🙂
Beautiful Pictures...especially with a smart phone
Scrumptious, looks edible...beautiful rose
Great Save....convinced me to keep shooting in RAW...
Thanks for your service, I got caught in the draft (no lottery), wound up with 25 years. Seems photography and golf are similar....frustration 90% of the time...its those good shots that keep bringing you back and back plus practice, practice, practice...Good luck on your transfers 😉😉😉
Excellent camera even with the 'Kit Lens'...I have the 77ii and their kit lens, SAL 1650, 2.8, SSM, an excellent combination, excellent results....I just recently purchased a Sony G 70-400 for the 77ii for wildlife and love it. I also have the A6300 primarily for travel and many of the SAL lens are excellent with the appropriate adapter.
Gitchigumi, top of the morning, I have the same problem, lots & lots of slides and prints from the 60's-70's and my old light table is also toast. Reviewed a lot of these conversion options and then purchased a Canon 9000F Color Scanner on eBay(new, great price) for converting my slides and old photos. Have a lot of Vietnam slides and the majority were taken in haste, if you get my drift. I guess maybe I also was expecting a little too much. Seems to me the output will be only as good as the original photos or slides on whatever equipment you took them with and as you say, PS or any other PP software can only do so much, 'Silk Purse, Sow's Ear'..... I should have learned to be a better photographer then. However I do like the Canon scanner, a little slow but does a pretty decent job of copying my slides/prints, can't say anything negative against it....Good Luck
Happy birthday Addicus, enjoy. Ever considered one of the new a 'Bridge' Cameras since they are becoming better & better with technology and it also eliminates a lot of additional accessories (lenses) and great for traveling. Versatile, affordable (many are) and packed full of features. Sony's DSC-S10IV or other models, Canon Powershot SX60 HS, Panasonic Lumix FZ80/FZ82, Nikon Coolpix P900 all offer packages packed with quality features including great image quality, built in wide angle to extensive zooms, image stabilization all in a single package....just a thought.
Vortex Storm Jacket or Peak Design Shell make full camera rain covers that may match, do a search and see what comes up. B&H, Amazon and other major stores have numerous options. I used a neoprene Lens Coat but it doesn't cover the camera, provides more protection from scuffs & scratches.
