Fantastic image, Joe. Composition is lovely. Great in DL.

Thanks very much, John. The little meadow flowers get lost if you don’t check the download.

An excellent shot! Interesting barn construction--part stone and part wood.

Thanks, David.

Thanks, Karin. I’m glad that you liked it. I was up in the air as to whether it was nice enough to post.

Beautiful set, Elliott. The greenish water was the perfect background for the duck portraits. Very nicely done.

Beautifully done. Love the scalloped vignette caused by the overhead lights.

Fabulous set. Thanks for the ID on the State Police car, I was having difficulty figuring it out.

Thanks for the info. I was there about 8 years ago on a "Semester At Sea" ship cruise between semesters. Found the village very photographically exciting, as they say, "target rich." I hope you'll share more photos. The locals shared stories of the storms breaking over the mountain immediately to the East. Rich history.

When I was there, it was not uncommon to have a dense fog roll in. If you were caught in one, the locals advised to immediately sit down and wait for the fog to clear. There were too many opportunities to fall into a ravine or off a cliff if you became disoriented.

Beautiful, very interesting scene with the masts forming a perpendicular grid and the boat slips arrangement looking diagonal. Great capture.
