In a hotel while in San Diego, I was escorted to the roof by the building maintenance man who was also a camera enthusiast. This was one of the views available.
Kind of like a "where's Waldo" image.
Wow, I spent my 2 Navy years, 1971-3, at Camp Pendleton.
I took sailing lessons at Jack Dorsey’s Marina, across the road from the airport. I was tempted to stay in San Diego. But the climate was boring! So I moved back to Iowa and Minnesota.
WOW! That must be one of the largest marinas ever.
Beautiful, very interesting scene with the masts forming a perpendicular grid and the boat slips arrangement looking diagonal. Great capture.

Great use of a telephoto lens to show congestion.
This is one hull-ascious menagerie!!
Oh my! I thought traffic on highways was bad.

Good deal!
"My boat's the white one. You can't miss it."
When people would come to my house for the first time, they would often ask what color it is. I'd tell them that it was white, like 95% of the other houses.
Makes it look like the boats have no water pathway to get out from the middle of the marina.
