Nicely done....
What settings? if I may ask..
Was it raining??
Appreciate the compliment Tom.
These were taken in a light sprinkle at shutter speed of 1/1600 aperture F/5.6 and 1000-ISO.
These photos are directly off the camera. I probably could have stood to shade the white balance towards a little less blue?
...or, maybe it's just my eyes.
A little LAX action taken in with Nikon d7200 through AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm VR kit lens
Nice pic Tom. I really appreciate the brightness and lighting you captured.
Out of curiosity, what ISO did you take this shot at?
Thanks Dave!
I'll be sure to take a trip over to the Sports forum.
Greetings! I'm a youth sports parent and enthusiast with previous film medium study.
I had mostly drifted away from photography for about 10-15 years (outside of the standard taking pictures of family during vacation). Then my son started participating in youth sports. With that I found myself sucked back in and with the $$$ invested and I don't see any looking back.
I stumbled upon this site while reading Auto Focus articles and after poking around a bit it looks like this will be a great resource for technical tips, technique pointers and equipment recommendations.
As I mentioned, my current focus is sports photography. Primarily football and Lacrosse as well as maybe some wrestling. My current equipment to this end is:
Nikon D7200 kit purchased at Costco (so you know I have the 2 kit lenses as well)
Sigma 120-300 f/2.8 DG OS HSM
Currently have my thumb on the pulse of the Nikon D850 for my next camera body along with the Nikkor AF-S 24-120mm F/4G ED VR lens.
For editing I've been playing around with Affinity Pro.
