Capture i is a color editor with catalán, snd good editing features. It’s non destructive and integrates with a number of programs helicon, Topaz as well as presets made by very talented photos. I used Creative cloud and my impression LR classic and mobile and PS are focused on professional image maker’s but capture 1 is capable but it’s focus is on color

I like capture 1. Before you spend a great deal of time on other PPPs, every one has a learning curve, give it a try. I find it easier than the the Adobe monolith, although the intructions are a bit scares, the capture 1 Site, you tube, Ugly Hedgehog,

Capture 1 and it’s ancillary Programs. There is an iOS capture one program where you can view a and cull a catalog Affinity for IOS and os systems. Each program has good parts weaker parts and different learning curves. I like capture 1 color editing and their attitude and learnig tools.
I have it and have had no problems
I use external 5400, 72O0 drives, external ssd drives and I e used internal Hard drives and Ssd drives. 500GB to 8 TBstorage. As my computers has ssds snd a fast processor i select the drive by purpose. Back up is on 5400 HD As time is no important. Referenced images for a Capture 1 catalog is ssd as it works with my computer. None is better or worse they all do what I need.
I’m focusing on Capture 1 and a few plug ins, Helicon plus, Topas bit I find one good program is enough me me to handle. I also struggle with Affinity as it has iPad and Mac full functionality but the convenience often outweighs the confusion. Capture 1 has Pilot which allows for culling and selection which is helpful. I stopped the Adobe system partly because if the internet usage and imho Capture 1 is a better color editor.
I’m in the beta testing program and the 1st version had some glitches.
I have had no problems with the new version. Or at least none with Capture 1 (the Fuji version) Affinity photo, and the other apps. The Fuji Apps work. The only issue I have is that the security code for one of my programs is listed as expired.
