Thanks, I didn't even know there was a switch - I looked it's fine. But I learned something else. Prob. was I quickly inserted my second card as I was shooting and filled the first without formatting it. Simple, beginners error. Easily fixed. Thanks for responding. Monica

Your right I have very little knowledge of digital photography. Due to one of the suggestions I'm going to find a local photo group to join. I had also been looking into find a personal tutor to help also. Thank you for your response, it's very much appreciated. Monica
Hi, basically I just forgot to format my backup card and started to try to shoot with it before I realized I didn't seems to be getting the image. Not thinking clearly. Easy fix nothing lost. Thanks for your reply and effort top help. Very much appreciated. Monica
Right, my definition of Manual is the same as yours. And I have little to none experience shooting in that mode. I've taken pictures of family and landscapes all my life and gotten very good even many exceptional outdoor images. However I'm now trying to re-train to be a Real Estate Photographer. So I've definitely got a heavy learning curve to get through. I'm trying to find a local tutor to help with that. I realize the questions I've asked here are not on your level of expertise. So I'm taking one of the suggestions to find a local photo group to join. At the time this seemed to be the only resourse I'd found to possibly get some answers. I really appreaciate all the responses and helpful advise I've received here, even though my questions were confusing in the way I tried to ask them and mis-spellings. So Thanks very much Monica
