That last photo is an often printed one of the B-26...it certainly shows the horror of war.
A salute to your father for his service.
Flash fired and caught a bug.

Yes, that's the one I'm thinking of. Look at the pictures of it sitting on the ground. It looks weird. The fuselage is so close to the ground. It must be strange landing one of them.
The landing gear "squats" when on the ground to make loading/offloading easier. It sets higher during takeoff and landing.
Driving back from checking the boat in Seward today and spotted this guy riding the boretide in Turnagain Arm. Was able to get a couple of shot....
Canon 50D, Canon 70-200L, ISO 640, TV mode at 1/320.

The owner of the blue board came running by a few moments later. :)
Nice. Top shot is my favorite.
Late run Salmon certainly demonstrate the instinctive drive in nature. I've seen literally rotting fish still swimming up stream, eyes gone, fins eroded away, larger ulcers in the body...but still swiming slowly upstream.

I think it was his Racer that the Japanese bought, stole, copied - for their Zero
The story that the Japanese used a Hughes design is false. One of those myths that never goes away.
Stearman act at the Gathering of Mustangs and Legends in Columbus, 2007. I don't remember his name but he puts on one heck of show never getting more than a few hundred feet above the ground....

This last one is one of my favorite shots. This is Lt. William "Bill" Bunn, 307th FS, 31st FG, '44-'45. I met Bill at The Gathering and am honored to have known him. He is a fighter pilot. He and his fellow airman are why I go to airshows. We owe veterans more than we can ever repay.

Nice photograph.
The guy 2nd from left is a bit out of position.
I want to get one soon. Any recommendations? I don't mind spending a little money if it is a quality product.
The 3rd photo is very nice.

Stunning photographs! What were they shot with?
The top one was with a Canon 980 Powershot, the others with a Canon 50D.
S/V Elnora recently spent 8 days in sunny Prince William Sound. The photos don't convey how stunning the scenery is....
