The M62 can be a nightmare if there are any accident but like you say it's a nice drive but not really much to see, except for IKEA.

Hi All
As I'm new to the forum I thought I'd add some photo's for the first time.
I use a Nikon compact camera & haven't done anything with these photo's expect for crop them. I'd appreciate any advice you have about my photos as I've decided to learn more about photography so this is all new to me. I am doing an online course which is helping me.

I don't live near the Lake District. It's about an hour & a half drive for me. I live in Warrington which in the middle of 3 cities Liverpool, Manchester & Chester.

I'm hope you enjoy your stay in the UK.
I travelled to Halifax in West Yorkshire & went to The Piece Hall which was worth a visit. I think I've added I photo I took while I was there. It's free to visit & there are lots of one off shops there. Also you could have a look around the centre of Halifax at the same time as it's walking distance to the town.
