Seems that after his comments, the news media has finally admitted that Pelosi was the one in charge of security on J** 6.

Was it a gaff or a brilliant ploy, executed perfectly? Once again Trump is playing 3-dimensional chess while Biden asks Jill if he can have ice cream if he eats all his carrots.

In all honesty, if you consider the number of public speeches Trump gives he's likely saying a few hundred words to each of Joes. There's not enough fish wrap in the NY Times to detail all the i***tic things Biden says and 99 percent of the time he lives under a rock.

The tapes where DJT asks the Republican Sec.of State Raffensberger to "find 11, 780 v**es" might be a more important reason Trump is indicted than Fani's political views, but hey some people live in an alternate universe than the rest of us where t***h is more important than fairy tales. Ask Raffensberger what he thought of the Trump "request"!

Ol' Brad Raffensperger got steamrolled by $350 million Zucker-bucks and last minute v****g changes. The influx of soft money coupled with un-protected drop boxes for mail-in-b****ts, yielded tainted results. For Raffensperger to admit that there was that much mail-in-b****t fraud would be to admit that he completely failed his role as SoS.

Trump was asking him to look for invalid b****ts and reminding him how small the margin was. It was a request and it was not against the law, even the law that Fani Willis answers to.

What does her personal life have to do with trumps guilt or innocence in court?

To answer your question, in our judicial system sometimes the charge itself can be the punishment. Trump is mounting a defense against many indictments and each of them costs him time and money in an e******n year.

Normally, DAs and prosecutors do not file charges they can not prove, but in the case of Trump, it is evident to many outside analysts that most of the charges he has been hit with are beatable, if not completely unfounded.

Fani Willis, the DA that has indicted Trump, is an elected democrat official that is openly anti-Trump. Fani Willis's personal life is directly tied into Trumps case because the "independent" prosecutor she hired is not independent if he's sleeping with and kicking back lavish vacations to her, his employer.

It's really that simple.

In most states, anyone convicted of a felony is prevented from v****g until they've completed all aspects of their punishment, including probation.

I think most of the J6 folks that are doing time were convicted (at a minimum) of the federal statute that involves disrupting an official proceeding. A resident of my state was held without bond for throwing a water bottle at a policemen and then entering the capitol where he did nothing more aggressive. He recently got an additional year in federal prison for a total that is going to be more than 3 years in prison and a lengthy probation period. The fact that he awaited 2 years in lockup and was denied bail shows you how skewed the J6 prosecutions have been.

At the same time, there are DAs around the country in major metropolitan areas not prosecuting violent crimes for repeat offenders.

In college I smoked quite a bit and got very little but the bare minimum accomplished. I still got decent grades and graduated but I could have done more and done it better. All the very profound thoughts I had when I was high were really just simple breakthroughs when I managing to overcome the fog. I worked (paid the bills) as a performing musician in college and until about 5 years after, my lost years. I thought I played better high but later realized that I played much better when I was straight. I have tapes to prove it, LOL.

I can't imagine smoking (or eating) it now unless it was the only thing that gave me relief from some illness. I think it should be legal, but for me personally, it was a serious time suck.

Gotta keep these cases spicy! If the initial reporting is true and Fani Willis hired her married boyfriend (Nathan Wade) as special prosecutor, paid him (so far) 10 times more than her deputies make in a year while traveling to Napa and the Caribbean on his fruits (taxpayer funded) then this could get interesting. Obviously one could argue it has no bearing on the merits but there will certainly be those that argue otherwise.

Democratic efforts to prosecute Trump on all fronts are quickly unraveling as their indictments are evaluated for legitimacy. They waited until they thought they could impact the e******n, but they were still way over their skis.

Best you got, Caster, going after a spouse? Sonya Sotamayor was probably glad Jackson joined the court. No one likes being the dumbest kid in class.

So exactly what is illegal?

Unconstitutional in reality, Like many of the tactics of the left. The legislation that allowed for the US AG to appoint someone with the power and scope that Jack Smith is exercising expired in 1999.

Let's think of smaller scale example. In many states the state attorney general is an elected position. Imagine if the governor of your state appointed an additional personal AG and that person started handing out indictments to enemies of the Governor. Are those indictments valid? No. They're being issued by someone who is not a real officer of the court because his appointment is unconstitutional.

There are plenty of people that think Jack Smith's indictments will not hold up in court. That may be true, but why risk a jury trial at all if you can get the indictments thrown out?

The brief was filed by a former US AG. Not grasping, and right now the SCOTUS favors the the rule makers, not the rule benders.
