Ice Mountain
This is an old Photo I took when I first moved here to Fox. A manmade mountain built with a sprinkler system that pumped water out of a pond right next to it. It was right across the road where the Pipeline View is North of Fairbanks. Its a gold panning place now and the ice mountain melted that next summer, forget what year. The Gold Dredge #8 is close by. People were on it one day climbing to the top when I drove by and saw them and snapped this picture. It was quite the tourist sight that summer, all kinds of people pulling off the road to take a look. Was probably about 100 ft high, was digging through my pics and found it.
Last one looks like your at the End of the Spit

Likin #5, all really good though
Watch Matt's Offroad Recovery on You Tube, you'll see a lot of that Country that tourists don't usually travel, but you will need four wheel drive vehicle.
I always liked the 50 Mercury, I fell out of one goin around a corner when I was little and broke my arm.
I like your pics, reminds me of long time ago Fishing on Alamo Lake, would see burros around and deer, lots of Quail and other critters. Use to work when I was young with my dad in that area, Augila,Salome,Wenden, cutting silage around some of the Farms out in the middle of the Desert.
I thought male's were Red and female's were yellow
Getting the Double Bird Message to Move Along
I remember riding dirt bikes and such down behind Tempe Beach and west of there downriver, was marshy in places and had to be careful because of quick sand. Salt River could be quite dangerous when big Storms come by and always will be.
