Many years ago I was on a small runabout on the St. Lawrence River. At the dock the engine died. Some helpful person lifted the engine cover not noticing my Nikon f-3 on the seat. It took a bath. After a trip to Nikon Repair it was fine. Never should have left it on the seat.
