Best advice I have heard. Stay with what you have, a full frame may not necessarily take better pics for you. You may be better off upgrading to a better lens for the camera you have.

Tell us about the z-6's ability to shoot moving objects. In some reviews I have heard that the camera does obtain sharp focus on the first shot but it has trouble getting focus for subsequent pics of moving objects. Have you been experiencing these problems photographing sports events?

Did you use a backpack and if so what did you use while in the vehicles?

One other question, how did you pack your gear? Did you use a backpack and what did you do use while in the vehicles?

Taking a Nikon 200-500. Any suggestions on another zoom for landscapes or people pics. Would Nikon's 18-120 be a good choice? Camera will be the d-500, so it does crop.

TAke off the print head and pot it in soapy water in a ultrasonic cleaner. The ultrasonic vibrations should dislodge any debris like dried ink.

There is a good you tube video on this subject comparing full frame vs crop cameras. Remember the math;
50mm lens on FF ÷1.6= 30mm on CF Camera gives equivalent focal length views

FF camera aperature = aperature ÷ 1.6 in a CF camera will give equivalent bokah or focal depth,
But if you change the aperature in the CF camera, to get the same exposure, you will have to change iso or shutter speed.
The video also goes into the math about equivalent iso settings between CF and FF.
The video shows how with both cameras you can obtain equivalent pictures and therefore you do not need a FF camera. The problem is that manufacturers do not make equivalent lenses for CF cameras. For example you can buy a 50mm lens for FF but not a 31.25mm lens for CF camera, you can get a 30mm lens which is close enough or use a zoom lens which can get you close to 31.25mm...

Don't underestimate the abilities of the d500 paired with the 200-500mm lens. The camera has fast focus abilities and takes great pics, 21 megapixels of resolution and uses the same image processor as the d5 and same resolution as the Nikon D5. D500 is used for sports photos, animals, birds etc. It's a great camera.

Yes, a 200mm lens when mounted on a dx is a 200mm lens, but it's focal length and field of view is that of a 300mm lens.

You answer about dx camera or dx mode and lenses is not correct. A dx camera with 200mm lens is actually a 300mm lens. You must multiply the lens focal length x 1.5(crop factor).

i will never buy an epson printer again. had a large format printer and all it did was eat ink. you turn it on and every time cleans the head by pushing ink thru it. the cartridges were expensive and never printed that may photos out of the 8 or 10 cartridges i had to put in it. buy a canon or hp, although hp ink cartridges are also expensive, but you can use third party ink thru them...

i just went there this past may 2017 and i used a d7000 with the nikon 200-500 lens and a nikon 70-200.
you will need the 500mm for close ups of birds/boobies and iquanas, penquins and sea lions. the 70-200 for landscapes. i never used a macro, although i had a nikon 105mm with me, but did not use it. there are insects and flowers, but again, never found time to use it. it is a great trip with national geo. someone posted about litter, and that is not true, we found all the islands to be very clean and litter free.

8K and 33 megapixels are coming. For those who say that we don't need it, i have to disagree. when you compare resolution of digital cameras and film, we are still quite a distance off in obtaining the resolution that film provided (83mp according to ken rockwell) and if you want to enlarge photos and still provide a good quality print or project them onto a screen/wall and provide a good image, then one needs a higher resolution camera sensor. if you are happy printing 8x10 prints, then what we have right now is satisfactory for you with no need to upgrade.

i heard that kodac was bringing kodachrome back due to demand from those still shooting film. lets face it, i am shooting digital, but film offers higher resolution and better color (without having to photoshop). we don't have digital cameras yet that give the same resolution as film, and if you don't believe me, check out ken rockwell's post comparing film to digital and he state that fim gives approx. 83mps of resolution and i have not seen a digital camera with that high of resolution yet...film was and is still best for many reasons.
now, lets see what type of responses i get on this one...
