Yeah, most of that is pretty much common sense. I do have a disagreement with one of their points though. They say you should always leave a product review, even if it is just a sentence or two. I used to do that, until I started getting messages saying that I *had* to use at least 300 characters (or some such number). For a lot of items, a review might only be something like "works as advertised". I mean, I bought a bunch of Canon body caps on there - what is there to say other than they fit the camera? I started just abandoning the review whenever they started doing this, and these days I only review the bigger items.
