Great shot neco. My wife and I have owned a cabin just outside of Grand Lake for the last 25years and I have enjoyed that view many times.

At the highest point on Trail Ridge Road, in Rocky Mountain Park, is a section called Rock Cut that, in addition to incredible scenery, has a large stone talus area. The talus is inhabited mostly by marmots and picas who are very eager to take whatever handout visitors will give them. But, if you sit quietly and watch, they will eventually revert back to their daily activity, and that can be a lot more fun than simply throwing snacks at them.

This young bull had no clue how to handle the pelicans.
I took this photo from a kayak at a long distance. So, the image quality is terrible but, his situation was too funny not to post. He circled the birds a couple of times before they flew off but, before they did, they buzzed him and he almost fell over trying to escape.
