Thanks for sharing your pictures. Seeing them looking so alive I expect to see them fly away.

Thanks for sharing your terrific pictures and information.
We're going to be in DC from 4/5-4/8/19 and hoping/praying that the blossoms will be "blossoming" ; and that my photography techniques will be up for the challenge.
We will also try to spend some time at Arlington and the Police Memorial (retired Cop).
Please wish us luck and Thanks again for sharing.

Just reading "Bruce with a Canon's" 2013 review of Lensmaster Rh2 and the owner/manufacturer's customer service and attitude.
I agree with him completely.
I also purchased an RH2 from Rob and was and am still pleased.
Thanks again Rob for your help,
Frank

I've seen, heard, and read numerous positive reviews for this lens and I will be looking for your reports on it.
I have used Sirui's 326 (I think that's the correct number) monopod and one of their ball heads with good success. You might look at it and possibly a Lensmaster Rh2 gimbal head to use with this lens.
Good luck.

Will this plate fit the D7200?

Sirui p326 Monopod. Carbon fiber, extends to (I think) 6 feet, carbide tip screws out of rubber-base/foot.
Can be used with or without head. I've used it with the Sirui L10 head, a D7200, and a 70-300 lens. It was very stable and convenient. The monopod was about $100.00, and the k10 head was around $80 - 100.00.

Check the manual, but I think that you'll want to have another card in Slot 2 for overflow. You also may want to set that second card for Jpeg.

My understanding concurs with CHG_CANON about using both slots and also the settings he lists.
Good luck.
I've got a D7200 and its been a great camera that's helping me be a better photographer.

Hi and Merry Christmas!
I agree with the idea of choosing the tripod and the ball head separately and that if they are the same brand it may fit the user's requirements.
I have a Sirui T2205x tripod and a K-30 ball head for it and also a Sirui P-326 monopod and a L-10 tilt monopod head for it. I'm very pleased/satisfied with both. The tripod, monopod, and heads were all purchased separately, after reading and listening to numerous reviews. Good hunting in whatever choices you make.

My experience has been with a D80 and then/now with the 7200. I don't have any first-hand knowledge about the 7500 or the other models that have been listed in the other replies.
I've been very satisfied with the quality and performance of the 7200, and I would recommend it, based on my amature (somewhat past beginner status), but enthusiastic photography journey.

I realized Saturday that the Marine Corps Birthday when I was in Boot camp was for the 192 birthday, and I was 20 years old.
Time seems to have flown by.
I'm glad the Corps has aged better over the past 51 years, in spite of the changes many may lament.
Still proud to be a "Marine" veteran.

I would suggest the LensMaster RH-2 from lensmaster.co.uk.
The cost was about $275 US (I think). Their website is very helpful and gives prices, specs, etc.
Rob, the owner and manufacturer, was very accomodating and all the reviews I found gave him and his products high marks.
Steve Perry gives some helpful tips in a youtube video for "Using Gimbal heads with a monopod".
Good luck.

Here is a photo of the painted silos I took in 2014. As I live in Vancouver area I had time to get a better view of the silos. Also it was not crowded when I went there. Note the structure on top of the silos is not shown. That is because I cloned out that structure as it was distracting.

Thanks for sharing your picture.
It gives a better view of what was done with the silos.
