Great picture. Even my Burmese kitten likes it (as he sleeps on my lap as I type this).
Depends on how you're going to present the photo, as well as on the image itself. Do what seems right to you (or another viewer you're trying to please). Then modify that by considering the presentation: 3:2 ratio for 4x6 prints; 5:7 ratio for 5x7 prints; 4: 5 ratio for 8x10 prints, etc;or 16:9 ratio for display on an HD TV monitor (which is what I usually do).
Sounds like all of the cats I’ve had. (I've never *owned* a Cat. You don't own cats: dogs have owners - cats have staff.)

You may want to consider going on -- cruisecritic.com - - and reading reviews on each port stop by past cruisers. Sometimes that is a very helpful site ....
Second the recommendation for cruisecritic.com. Very helpful about all things cruise-related.
Note that there appears to be no "deep end" in the pool; everyone appears to be standing up in the pool. It's just as well - there's no room to do any swimming.
We've been on several cruises to most of these cities. For lots of information, go to https://wikitravel.org/en/Main_Page.
For local tours not associated with the cruise line, we recommend https://www.toursbylocals.com/login. These tours are generally very good (although we've not so far used them in the Med) and significantly cheaper than the cruise shore excursions. But generally with the cruise line shore excursions, you're assured of returning to the ship before it sails, so if you use Tours By Locals, be sure to allow enough time to return to the ship.
More specifically:
Barcelona: two must-sights are Park Guell and Segrada Familia. Between these two, you'll need most of a day. Many great photographic opportunities.
Monte Carlo: not a lot to see other than the casino, to which you can easily take a taxi (or walk, probably) from the harbor.
Rome: you'll need transportation from the port (Citavecchia) to Rome. Haven't done, that since our only visits to Rome itself (vs Citavecchia) were land tours. There's a lot to see in Rome and it can be done by walking once you get into the city center; look at WikiTravel for detailed info.
Taormina (Sicily): must-see here is Mt Etna: definitely worth a shore excursion from the ship.
Venice: lots to see (we spent a week here 15 years ago). Can/must see it all by walking or water taxi since no cars are allowed.
Haven't been to Dubrovnik (although we spent a day in Split), Motor, Kermit's, or Marseilles. We were supposed to go ashore in Livorno, but the seas were too rough to get into the harbor as I recall.
Hope this helps.

I think it is holder for a walking cane. Big end snaps around cane. Rubber pad sits on table edge.
I agree - it's a cane holder. I've had them in the past.
Love both of them, but especially #2.
Great pictures. My dad served on the Alabama (BB-60) for 2 1/2 years during WWII. She was decommissioned in 1947 and was towed to Mobile Bay as a memorial where she rests today. I love the battleships, but they have been obsolesced. I also love the great clipper ships, but they, too, are obsolete.

Before I purchased my 77D about 6 months ago, I considered both the 7Ti and the 80D. The advantages of the 77D over the 7Ti include the top LCD screen and the selection wheel on the back. I've been very pleased with the 77D. The size is smaller and lighter than the 80D, which appealed to me. The 77D has excellent auto focus and can shoot up to 25,600 native ISO. I'm not as familiar with the SL2, but would assume the main reason someone would want the SL2 over the other models would be the even smaller size, and perhaps cost savings. The 77D would be more similar in size to your current Rebel model, but also has many upgraded features, including better low light capability. The 77D is an incredible value right now while on sale at $649.00 for a new body. This is less than the price Canon normally gets for a refurbished body, and less than a new 7Ti. Any of the models you mentioned are very good cameras, you will have to decide which features are most important to you.

Me, too. Like the OP, last fall I wanted to upgrade my previous camera (a T1i, in , my case). I narrowed my choice down to the T7i, 77D, and 80D. I did a detailed tradeoff, and settled on the 77D. Main factors were lighter weight, newer model (than the 80D), and better low light capability; I also didn't think the better weather sealing of the 80D was a big deal, since my lenses are not weather sealed .I bought the 77D and love it.

A million terabytes is an "exabyte" (unless someone else has already answered this.
Grandfather: flying instructor in the Army teaching fighter pilots to fight in WWI
Father: gunnery officer on the battleship Alabama in WWII; never talked about it
Uncle: enlisted in the Army in WWI; retired as a Colonel in the reserves decades later
Me: USN officer during Viet Nam; fortunately saw only shore duty in DC
Son (now 30): hopefully will have no military experience at all
