Just got my 600PF. Wanted to compare it to my old 500PF. Took a few days to get the same bird in the same spot. All taken from the same spot, about 35', lighting varied.

Obviously a big problem. We usually pick one critter and one bird for the wall. The gorilla is the choice for critter.

MJ, me since 1988 with the Apple 2GS, the speed demon of the time. I had already imported all my photos, and was more than halfway done editing them. I have since finished, and in regular contact with a senior advisor in the Media group. Others have reported issues with Photos since the update, but I couldn’t find anyone discussing my issue. Waiting for the “Engineers” report.

3 weeks. How many photos at 10 frames per second would you take if you were sitting in the middle of a family of Silverback Mountain Gorillas? A troop of 30 chimpanzees? 250 species of birds you’ve never seen? And you’re not going back? Easy to shoot 25,000, and after editing them, I’m glad I did.

Yes, That is an option. But I finished editing my Uganda photos, so only miscellaneous for the next several months. I’m going to give Apple some time to fix the mess they created before going backwards.

I realize this will be reviewed by a very small subset of hoggers. However, be that as it may, I use Apples Photos to edit my pics. Not the best in the world, but it works for me. Recently returned from Uganda, with about 25,000 photos. I was about half way through when Sonoma was released. I always do the updates, and after the update, Photos was different.

The biggest problem is after editing a photo, copying the edits, and pasting to them the next photo, which was taken a fraction of a second later, the new system makes its own edits. It WILL NOT COPY my edits. I’ve been on the phone with Apple for over 4 hours this week, and basically they are taking notes. The advisor admits something is wrong, and it’s going to the “Engineers”.

Just wondering if any of you have had issues with Sonoma and Photos.
