That is such a winner. You could teach me a lot.
Swamp Gator. These are great pictures. I really like the fact that the little guys are feeding naturally on the blossoms and not at an artificial feeder.
Great job.
thank you Silvertone. I took the hummer pics in So. Lake Tahoe, Ca. I was excited to get back home in Fl. and start taking some better pics of the "little ones". Not very successful here in Fl. I managed to catch one pic of a Fl. Hummingbird. Accept my excuses for the picture quality.
The postings on this sight are so amazing, and that certainly includes your sunrise and clouds. I would love to have it on my hard drive. I'm trying to stay positive about making improvements. I need to post recent pic for discussion and critiques.
Photogirl.
what got that llama so excited. I used to travel quite a bit in Central Oregon. I would make it a point to stop and see the llamas outside of Sisters Or. They are so intent on getting their picture taken. The picture is perfect in my eye.
good work
Nice effect PitchurMan. I see them in a different way.
Leaves floating in the Universe.
I really like these three fstop22. Colors are so vibrant. Like you said, the clouds have unusual shapes. My fav is 1 thru 3. Come out of hiding - Florida?
Used an older fim camera in 1990. I appologize for the focus problems.
Moody, I know exactly how you feel. This forum is great for helping me improve all over. Your pics are great. I read some of the comments about post editting and I know it's time to move forward. Keep psoting and we both advance.
Here's one from 1963. Asahi Pentax. Very grainy, but I like the colors.
Do you like sunsets and clouds as much as I do?
Nice shots Clyde.
The clouds on #3 seam like they are falling from heaven so to offer protection during the darkness.
Gizzy-whicker. I don't have an explanation for the abupt ending to the tracks. I took the pic sitting in the passenger seat of my friends car as we were heading to Spkane at about 65 mph. Didn't have the opportunity to investigate.
Later I went back and enlarged the file. A possible theory is as follows.
In the area of where the tracks end, there is a small rise that blends into the rest of the frame. It seems that (possibly) the tracks continue while being hidden by the slight rise in the foreground. There is another rise that is more easily visible and is located closer to the highway from where my car was traveling.
I looked at the position of the wheat affected by the tracks and couldn't attest to the implement backed up in the same tracks.
I still think "aliens" for the sake of crazyness.
Hi gizzy wicker.
The two tracks in that wheat stand is what caught my eye. I assume they were made by a combine????
"Alien Landing" Ha Ha
Hi Carioca. I missed the tv special. I didn't see very many hummers in Fl. this year. Thanks for the post. I need all the help I can get. :D
This first one is definitely chubby. I was suprised that the little ones were so hefty looking. Thank you for the coments. Available light limited my ability. I'm learning.
