While on vacation in Ca., I was amazed by a new friends hummingbird pictures. My first attempt shows my lack of experience. Since returning to Fl. haven't seen the "little ones".

Nice - looks a little over weight. Maybe an American thing - looking at a bird and seeing a diet concern. Yes I've covered up all of the mirrors in my house years ago.

The first sure is a little fatty! I wonder if it is supposed to be that heavy. The focus is bad on that one but the background is fabulous. The second one is really well focused and again the background is very well done.

They should be that heavy, so they can migrate for the winter. PBS had a great show on hummers recently.

This first one is definitely chubby. I was suprised that the little ones were so hefty looking. Thank you for the coments. Available light limited my ability. I'm learning.

Hi Carioca. I missed the tv special. I didn't see very many hummers in Fl. this year. Thanks for the post. I need all the help I can get. :D
