My Dad had never bought a new car. He bought a 58 Edsel Ranger when they first came out. It was a dog with engine issues. Poor ol Dad did not buy another new car till he bought a new Chevy Vega.... yep another dog.

Several passes had nose gear down.
She’s based at Meacham Airport in Ft Worth, about 20 miles from where I live.
Noticed she had nose gear down on some of the passes yesterday.
I was able to fly with my two brothers a few years back in Aluminum Overcast, the B-17 operated by EAA.
In 2017 we flew in the Trimotor Ford.
Our eldest brother passed away last year.

Fifi, one of only two B-29’s still flying circled our area all day yesterday lumbering casually at a few thousand feet. I finally caught it but only w my iPhone 7+. An awesome sight.

I shot the black lighthouse on Port Bolivar a couple years ago on a sunny morning.
Upon visiting again early this week it had a whole new look in morning haze.
The exhibit was in Dallas a couple years back. Baseball sized hail storm destroyed many pieces.
I met a guy like that once. His philosophy was,” I can’t wait to hear what I’m going to say next!”
This cardinal was quite taken by its mirror image. Kept coming back for another look.
Brings back memories. I pastored a church in Raceland, La. in late 1980’s.
I flew on Aluminum Overcast about 10 years ago.. was flown by EAA. It’ll be hard to top that experience. Recently flew on Ford Trimotor. Love the old birds.
