40 years after discharge went to VA when told about getting hearing aids from them, was disqualified because I had not had hearing test performed regularly over that period. My records showed I was just short of hearing disability when discharged. I guess they thought my hearing was going to get better with age. Went to Costco and after 5 years will replace them for new ones in December.

Thank you all for your responses. I have a request into Skylum but they have not responded as of yet.

I watched Phil Steele's video earlier and that is what got me interested but when I looked it up on Amazon I read the reviews and it is almost 50/50 from the best to locks up, won't open photos, slow, on and on against. I went to Skylum site and saw something not upfront on any review and that is required OS is I5 or above. My laptop is only I3, maybe pass on this. I did see that they just came out with an upgrade to 3.1.1. No info on that yet.

Does anyone use Lumina 3? I saw a video on it and it looks good for a stand alone program but some of the reviews are not the best. Didn't know if some people are not fully up on using it or is there a problem with it? Thank you.

Our two females return each year. The Male is there early in the season but is gone for the rest. Have not got him yet.

Have received a couple of prepaid Visa cards from Canon. Takes time but they do arrive.

No way to capture the train up or down except while on the train. Excellent chance at top or at the Base station.
To get an overall view you can stay on Rt 302 just east of the Mount Washington Hotel and get the hotel with the mountain behind and at the right time of day the smoke from the steam train going up. Can't really see the train from there because of the distance (unless you have a super telephoto lens but them you miss the hotel).
Take time to ride the train even if it is not the steam engine. Plenty of history. Try for a clear day if you can. Beautiful from the top.
Many states and Canada visible.

All advice has been very good. A most wonderful place to visit. Do take a jacket not a windbreaker if you go up it can be quite a temperature drop at the top. If you can't find time for the mountain trip at least drive up to the base station and see the trains. Expand my avatar to see the steam train starting up the mountain.
Another beautiful thing to see near there is the Mount Washington Hotel, one of the most majestic hotels of its time.
Good luck on your trip.

Those of interest Google "Railway Garden - Purdue University Northwest".
About one acre, elevation up to 14 feet, 3000 feet of hand laid track, 850 tons of limestone. Shows the growth of steam railways in US. The display is taken down ln the fall and rebuilt in May to open in June each year. Very impressive layout and story. Aslo surrounded by 300 acre Arboretum. Beautiful place to visit.

I found out Sigma did do an upgrade on the MC-11 to correct the locking up problem. A second review by Tony Northrup stated this.

Just saw a review about MC-ll and Canon lenses, on the a6300 with high speed shutter function it will freeze the camera causing it to re-boot for up to a minute and loose settings for that shot.

I see you use the Fotodiox Pro adapter. How do you like it? I have thought about getting one for my a6300 to use my Canon lenses but have read pro and con. Can not make up my mind from the reviews.
