He was about 2 1/2 to 3 ft long. I tried to pull him off the branches, but he was like stuck on them. Amazing how they cling. I have photos of a black rat snake climbing a tree. It was awesome. He climbed all the way to the top.

He was in my work zone so I grabbed my camera and started shootin' him. He is quite harmless!

Thank You!! It was near a large farm pond about 12 Mi. S.W. of Eureka. Ks. I used a Nikon D5100 with a 55 -300mm1:4.5-5.6GED. I've only seen one other Osprey in Kansas and I missed the shot, so I was ecstatic when I saw this one, and even more ecstatic when I saw how good they turned out.

On the way home from work yesterday and saw this spectacular Bird. I missed the shot where he was flying right at me, but these two turned out great.

Just Kidding, Good Shot. I shot rodeo for years, and still do on occasion, i understand how tough it is to get the perfect shot. I did like standing out there with the clowns. EXCITING!!!!!
