Only Mother Nature could come up with a mathematical spiral like this. This Sunflower grew on my second floor veranda to bring colour to the courtyard below and wonder to my eyes.

Thank you Bob. Im glad that I managed to catch it just at the right time before it grew older. Bit like sunsets and having to wait for that right moment.

You have the idea Wlgoode. Nature has come up with the perfect mathematical spiral so that it can pack the most seeds into a given space. The interesting thing is that the spiral goes more one way then the other to make this possible. Thanks for looking.
