Thanks! I could have done a better job of arranging everything, but I had everyone hollering at me that they just wanted to eat, lol.
Been there and done that. Most time I forget to take pics of the table ... this year I took no pictures at all of Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinner ... Usually I'm somewhere in the western Caribbean during Christmas, with COVID, not this year ...
And here I am on a photography forum, looking at a picture and thinking, my that is a neat baking dish! Not composition, not lighting, just wow that dish is neat! What the hell is wrong with me? Anyway thanks for sharing.
I'm new to the board after buying a Nikon D3300. Very happy with the camera and 18-105 lens but want to pick up a "Cheap" (less than $100) flash. I'm an old Nikon FE owner who had a Vivitar flash back in the day. Looking for good advice from the group. Thanks in advance. Will in MKE.
There are a few choices you can make for a "cheap" flash as listed here.
If you end up going further by stepping up to a better grade Nikon (D7XXX or D500) you will regret that cheap flash. Inexpensive is another choice. My first Flash was a Flashpoint (rebranded Godox) from Adorama (under $200) mainly because of the Li-on battery. I found this group on Facebook (Speedlight and Strobe Fundamentals) that is run by a guy who sells Godox equipment (Tim Payne ... Flashgear.net). My second light was the Godox v860 with the Godox Pro controller). Love them both even though I hardly use them. Good luck in your search, I recommend the Godox brand.
I got an email supposedly from RoadRunner asking me to give them my payment information or they would halt my service. The email came from vhinkle@ma.rr.com.
I get the same from Pay-Pal ... I don't have a Pay-Pal account.
I got her a shot at Playboy centerfold, incl. a Playboy shoot, but she didn't get the nod.
I'm thinking it is probably quite hard to get a deal with Playboy.
On another note I had Jenny McCarthy's original pull-out hanging in my garage for over a decade and when I asked people who they thought she was no one answered correctly. The same goes for Pam Anderson her first shoot she looked more like the girl next door than the model/actress she became later after all the surgery. Thanks for sharing.
I looked through your postings and didn't see any figure work there. If you ever get close to the Carolinas you can look us up and maybe she'll sit for you.
I would not have been so kind.
Most of us don't have access to models like Thomas and LA Shooter have. We go with what we have. Seems like the ones who critique the models instead of the capture itself rarely, if ever post here. I think we know why. Keep enjoying what you do and thank you for posting ...
Cool shot! Texture forever in this one. I like the angle and composition. The tables and benches draw into the subject and the trees create a nifty backdrop.
