Thanks Bill appreciate the feed back. My practical side says as a non professional who enjoys quality photos not for profit. Is to buy the Sigma 300mm prime or the 120-300mm sport.Which both cost 2700.00 less then the Canon. I feel the average person wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Hello looking for some feedback on the sigma 300mm 2.8. Hockey and Baseball are my sports of interest. The Canon version is much more expensive and is it worth the extra 2500.00.
