Nice Lens, clear and sharp.
Absolutely stunning picture
Hi all, anyone have any experience using the Canon 70-20 4L Is verses the upgrade Canon 70-20 4L Is II USM.
I am aware of the difference in the IS stops but I am wondering ifs there is a difference in the glass/sharpness/clarity of the versions. When Canon upgraded the 70- 200 2.8 to version 2 there was significant difference in the clearness/sharpness of the lens. When Canon upgraded the 100-400 to version 2 there was also a significant difference in the clearness/sharpness/focus of the lens.
What I am asking/looking for here did this also happen in the 70-200 4L is when they updated to version 2.
Thanks in advance for your input. Hope I fixed the errors in my post.
Thanks to all for your posts on my question. I learned a lot.
Thanks to all replies, very helpful
Will be taking some Fall Color pics over the next Month. Does taking these pics require any special filters?
Does bright sun, clear skies or cloudy skies affect the type of filter used.
I normally tries to keep filters simple, I have UV, Polarized, and a neutral density filter currently in my bag.
Thanks in advance for any input
If you camera will allow it, start by taking pictures that will record on you memory card in both JPEG and RAW. Take some of your better pictures in JPEG and work with them in raw also. Once you begin to get the feel of it, you may decide to do more raw if you like it.
Depending on the type of shooting you do, you will probably use both down the line. I shoot sports, JPEG works better in that field for me. In my other stuff, I shoot RAW.
Very nice. Lear, sharp and good coloring.
Is the 135 still available?

I have sold many things here on the site. I just always include pictures at the very beginning. I know if I don't people will ask for them and well as haggle the price.
Gee, and all I asked was for a few pictures. I was ready to buy but I guess asking for pics was a no no even though he said he would.
A lot of great shots from that adventure, that is the 2nd time I have seen pics from the back bay at Newport. That may have to go to my bucket list of places to go. Again nice shooting.
I am surprised that there has been no mention of POTN, Photography on the Net. Pretty good site with very good people to buy and sell to.
