Ditto on removing the spots. Just wondering if dust would cause a bright spot against a black background. Haven't noticed any spots before. Of course they would be pretty much invisible against a bright background.
Thanks
I stepped outside and was surprised to see the moon here in the Pacific Northwest. I grabbed my Panasonic G9 and took a few hand held shots with the Pano 100-400mm lens at 400mm. This is of course the equivalent of a 800mm FOV in a FF camera. I have mixed emotions on the results of my endeavor.
My question pertains to the bright dots that are visible against the dark background. Would dust on the sensor show up this way?
I don't believe there are any stars between the earth and the moon LOL.
Thank you for your insight.

Wow. You were in the right time and place. Excellent captures. In all my years of living in seagull and eagle land, I have never been lucky enough to see this. You are right about the feathers flying. It looks like snow falling when the eagle plucks a seagull.
Thank you for the information. I will never have the opportunity to visit Cuba. I would suggest that you may slow the show down a bit so that my old mind could absorb all the sights. Love all the old cars.
I guess in my old age I mistook you for someone else, who uses 16:9 on their micro 4/3rd camera. Thanks again.
Thank you both for looking. Did you notice, Linda, that I took your advice and started shooting in the 9 by16 format?
Thank you everyone for the new forum. Here is a picture taken with my Panasonic G9 on one of my many fishing trips along the shore last fall. I was lucky to spend the summer as a camp host at the Cedar Bay Marina and Campground in SE Idaho. Was able to go fishing for rainbow trout most every day.
Very nice. In the first, I see a couple of deer, one of which is looking at you.
Hello. I am just over the hill from you. I have a Host job at the Cedar Bay Campground and Marina on the Blackfoot reservoir in SE Idaho. About 20 miles out of Soda Springs Idaho. Drop in if you happen to be in the area.

Any interest in a possible trade - Olympus 12-100 Pro? Thanks.
Sorry. Need the cash for a big adventure this summer.
Thanks for asking.
This lens is in like new condition. I would like $895.00 I will pay shipping in the lower 48. PayPal would be fine.
Thanks for looking.
I have no experience with the Olympus, but have owned the G9 for about three months. I sold my Nikon D810 and D600 and do not miss them at all.
The G9 just feels good. I picked up a used G3 for $100.00 and usually leave a 12-60mm on it. Using an OP/TECH double strap system, I hang this combo on one side. I carry my G9 with a Pano 100-400mm on the other. This covers a 24mm to 800mm FOV. All this hand held with very little strain.
I can not emphasize how much fun the Panasonic G9 has put back into photography for me.
I would like to buy your tripod. Send me a PM and we can exchange info. Thanks.

Beautiful and thoughtful.
