This is an idea my wife and I had for my niece, Ali, who is an actress in southern California. OK, so this is mostly a digital painting ... however, the clouds and her face are from photos that I shot. Just consider it MASSIVE post work. It's her Christmas present this year (so don't tell anyone. Her 42" x 22" print will arrive on Tues. I wanted to do something a bit different, so I combined the characters from the Disney classic and Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland Through the Looking Glass" movie. I started this on the morning of Dec 10 and just finished it about an hour ago. All told, it was just about a 60 hour project.

#5 ... I love the graffiti, because that's what I would really expect to see on an old train.

The blue shading and the reflection makes this really stand out. I like this very much.

Thanks Erich. Back in my television production days, we used to light certain sports cars like this. We put a 1k light with a red or blue gel under the rear axle pointing forward. This is my digital recreation of that effect.

I for one know "A Bit Tricky" is an understatement. Most of us on the Hog are at different degrees in our mastering of Photoshop, High school degree, Collage degree. I think you classify as have a Doctorate's degree with the Photoshop work on this car.

LOL! My grandmother always wanted a Dr. in the family!

I haven't got the slightest idea of how you got all the lettering/type to look so good with proper skewed proportions. Outstanding work.

Thanks Jim. It is a bit tricky, but can be done easily with practice in PS using the Free Transform selections.

So this is the photo I used for last week's "My Image, Your View" challenge. There were some great entries and I just wanted to congratulate Jim-Pops for his winning entry. This is what originally popped into my head when I first grabbed the pictures of the car with my phone. This is just a fun poster featuring the Aston Martin Racing colors I thought I'd create from it ...

Because I have nothing to add to my last post. - Read it -.

I did read it, twice. However, that doesn’t answer the question if this crop works better for you. Your shot is no more boring than any other product shot that agencies produce. I certainly find it very interesting.
