Nice shots, what are we fishing for here? Six lines in one hole around here would be a tangled mess on the first fish.LOL

What great images, when you get an old OTR truck driver excited over flowers you know you done good.
I would like to ask a favor, I've been looking at macro lenses, what lens did you use to get those fantastic results? I shoot with a D7000 and looking at the 2.8 Nikon 105 macro and the 2.8 Sigma 105 macro. Still doing my home work, your answer will help. Thanks; Phil

Phil,those were taken with a canon T1i and a 18-55 lens.

You're kidding...coffee grounds?! I've got to try that on mine that never blooms. How do you apply the coffee grounds to the orchid? Beautiful picture too, by the way.

Worked on getting this just right. At first I could not get the petals and the inside sharp. I put the Macro fixed 105 on the tripod, and used manual focus. That worked! These orchids sat in my patio for 6 years doing nothing..then I started giving them coffee grounds last year and they have bloomed the last two years.

I just dump them wet from my coffee maker on the surrounding dirt or on top of the plant if there is no room..as I water they soak in...you can use them on Hydrangeas also..

This works great on lilac bushes too. We also,a few time a year dilute a pot of coffee in a gallon of water and water are house plants with it,makes the flowering plants go nuts.
