I just ran a cooper hawk off before he could snatch a bird from under the feeder. The crows aren't doing their job. The hawks are beautiful but I wish they would hunt somewhere else.
When I was in school at Tech I fished below the falls quite often and the one day as we turned the bend to the falls we were cut off because of a huge land slide. It looks like the picture was taken beneath the falls and shows how narrow the creek still is today. The person that owned Cookeville dock slipped in Burgess Falls lake one night and caught two bass off the same stump - one 8 lb one 9 lb. We are talking years ago. Beautiful pictures and lots of memories . Thanks for sharing. By the way livingadream you look really familiar.

when I was in the construction business we sometimes would have a child that would be a little obnoxious and get in everyone's way so to keep their brains occupied we would give them this problem to solve. I would open up a stick rule and show them it was 72inches long and then ask them if 36 was half of 72 they would agree that it was. Then I would fold the rule in half and show them 37 was half of 72. Now run along and when you figure it out come back and show me. The rest of the day was peaceful.
I had the same problem with my mac laptop. I removed the battery and that temporally solved the problem. When the problem re occurred I added more memory --- been good ever since. I know very little about computers.
It's like every time I look in the mirror that rascal is looking back.
I try but fall short so many times but I will never give up.
