i do tone adjustments bring down highlights, bring up shadows, white up slightly, black down slightly add clarity it gives a crisp detailed photo
objects or city scare can be given extreme adjustments, be careful on people though it can get scary

I posted yesterday, but all the photos did not go thru. My local clubs annual print show is coming up. We have many categories. We are allowed to enter 4 photos.
I will list the category with each photo that I would put it in. there should be 6 photos to choose from. Please tell me your favorites, or even if you don't like one.
Your constructive criticism is welcome.

Results are in. Members in club actually do the voting on slideshow competitions. We do have our annual print competition coming up though where we have three outside judges.
There were some good photos. Number three after I cropped as suggested to get dead tree branches out of the way, and make bridge more focal point. Won 1st place I also entered
number 1 it did not get in to the top 4. The guest critic did mention the blown out clouds. I took this before I learned how to bracket or adjust for such things. Some of the other
photos in the competition had the same problem. Other than that he thought a lovely shot. Number 1 he liked but wanted me to have brought foliage and area to right and bank up
little to get more of the color in that area. Will be putting a few things up fro advice for upcoming print competition. There are many categories that i can enter so different types
of shot to compete with each other.

NikonD7100, 18-300 mm I do make a little over saturated and contrasted. The competition is done thru a slideshow they tend to loose a little detail and pop.

Thanks for all the voting and the input. I have chosen from the responses to put in numbers 1 and 3 I also took in consideration some of the points that were made.
I took down a few ow the highlights and whites in number 1 and cropped Number three to make the bridge more prominent, which also took out the dead tree limbs.
I also cloned more blue from the left side of sky over to the right. Thanks for all the help wish me luck

I actually started using a computerized signature I made one as a brush preset. I know it will be neat, don't have to worry about it being to large, wrong color, etc. I can move it around if I make it a layer I can take it off and redo when resizing prints. If put on mat, if it is a photo that never sales you will probably not be able to use it again. I believe my photographs are art work just like paintings that I have done and no one thinks twice about signing those. In past I had some not signed and the person who bought them ask me to sign them. They were framed, so I had to take them apart and reassemble.
