If using a Canon Pro 100, Precision Color makes excellent 3rd party dye inks. As with all non-oem inks, they will fade faster. You can get a good uv spray that will increase longevity, as well as framing them under glass. If you are selling prints, use oem pigment inks.

I had a Retina IIIc that I received as a birthday gift when I was 13. Had it until my ex-wife cleaned out my apt. Lost a Carousel projector, and several Minolta SLR's. I bought another IIIc, that I keep in a cabinet. They were built like tanks.

Great Pix. When we lived in NJ, we would go up to the Cortland Yacht Club several times during the summer.
Enjoyed the members, and I miss going there. Sold the boat when we moved to Richmond VA. We were spoiled, lived on the Hudson and the boat was 10 minutes from the house. Lived in Yonkers for about 2 years and go up to Fishkill several times a year for the holidays. Miss the beautiful scenery.

Yes, this the same Peter Fonda for saying Baron Trump should be ripped from his mother's arms. He later apologized. Funny how Hollywood can get away it. Let a conservative try it, and all hell breaks loose.

She should have been tried for treason. By turning over the note, the POW'S were severely beaten. She also rode on a NVA tank. TOTAL HOLLYWOOD TRASH!

As a Realtor, the only time that I will use a cell phone is for the exterior just to get it into the MLS to be legal. At the same time I use my Sony A77 and take "Real Photos". Then I PP them, and enter them into the listing. Our MLS allows up to 50 photos, up from 12. Most of the listings here all look alike with the same artificial skys. If I need a drone, I just hire someone to do it. I have a problem with my balance, and can't stand for a long time.

Like the old pick up truck. My father bought a 1941 Chevy pick up 2 months before the war. Ran it for his soda business until 1959. The bought a used 56, then a new 67 3/4 ton. The 67 had the big 6 cylinder, extra leaf springs. The larger the load, the better it rode. The bed had 3/8 steel plate, and tail gate was diamond plate aluminum. It was fun to drive. Got your workout, no ps, or brakes. Unfortunately, he sold it with his business.

My friend has the RX10m4 and used it on a trip to Europe. Pix were very good, and saved him from carrying his full size A99II. The camera is very well made. I would consider it next time. Since my back surgery at HSS in NY, I can't carry too much weight. I have the a65 and a77. Used to carry in one big case. I keep them in smaller cases, and use a Benro monopod with feet for stability. Sucks getting old.

Congrats on your move to DE. from high tax NY. Other than the food and family, you probably won't miss much. Enjoy it.

You can buy a Benro with foldable legs for about$75. Works great when I don't want to drag a tripod.

Just remember, if you plan on selling your work, third party inks do not have the longevity of OEM. Fading may occur sooner with third party inks. Having said that, frame it under glass, and use a protective spray.
Get on Jose Rodriguez's website. He does testing with Precision Color inks that are made in the US. Probably the best third party inks for the Canon Pro-100. They just came out with a new formula. which Jose is testing this week. The owner of the company provides ICC profiles for numerous papers. stay tuned. You have to do your own refilling, and buy cheap $6 carts.

thanks everyone...i am going to check out red river and order a couple different papers...I think it will be fun doing more printing....Typically I use Costco or shutterfly to do my printing...

Get a sampler pack from Red River. That will give you a variety and you are not stuck with a large box of something you don't like.

You might want to look at a monopod with folding legs. I have a Benro that has them, and I bought an add on from Amazon for my Manfrotto monopod.

If you are concerned about ink costs, and not longevity, Precision Color has the best 3rd party ink refillable inks. They will be coming out with an updated set very soon. Ink Products has a CIS system that works, and is $140 with an initial filling. They can be refilled with PC inks. PC inks has the closest color match to OEM, but no 3rd party inks have the longevity. The LD inks are ok, but color match is not great.
