So how much longer is everyone going to beat this dead horse? Let's face it there is no way common ground is going to be found here, just like the bozos in DC.

I am very proud of the deer in my avatar. He was a noble game animal and he ate very well from my freezer. I made good use of the meat and as he was an older buck he had pretty much already passed his genes on to many future generations of deer to come. Probably you are not into hunting and I am perfectly fine with that but please don't try to put a bad connotation on hunting. In reality it is one of the safest and more noble of the sports available to us. The fact that that deer is hanging from my garage ready to be skinned and made into meat is also a testament that if the world ever really goes to pot at least I will be able to feed my family with my skills of hunting, fishing and trapping. Many in the world today can't say that. If it wasn't for the food store they would probably starve to death.

Last, you say I make good points yet you try to demean me by taking a personal shot at me because I do something different than you though it is still honorable and lawful. Oh yes, it didn't make me mad at all. I am honored you noticed the avatar and commented on it. Hopefully this year I will have a similar but different photo to be proud of.

I'm sorry you think I was trying to demean you. But, pictures of dead animals just make me sad.

I have to agree with you in that there is too much name calling on the forum and not enough discussing. Very quickly a post will turn into nothing but name calling and the topic of discussion is totally forgotten.

I am a Conservative and think Liberal thinking is taking away my freedoms inch by inch until the Federal and State governments will have the power and We the People will have none.

If you look at my past posts I don't call anybody names, I don't get angry and I don't denigrate others whose views differ from mine. I state my position and step back. Normally I do not see a lot of people arguing against my position and wonder why. Remember there can only be an argument if you are argumentative.

Very good points you make. However, I know this will probably make you mad, but couldn't you find a different picture for your account then you and that poor dead animal. I'm sure you are very proud of your hunting skills but it is a pretty sad picture. Just my opinion.

I couldn't agree more.

Each of us interpret facts differently based on our background and up bringing, to name only 2 factors.

That doesn't make anyone right and the other wrong.

The glass half full/empty should make that very clear to everyone.

That shouldn't stop us from having civil discussions. The operative word being civil.

I couldn't agree more.

I did live to get my shot! lol.

I was there last year in April. Our photography group was there about 5 am. By the time the sun started to rise there were about 30 photographers. To say the least I was shocked. I guess there are a lot of photography nuts like us that are willing to get up that early and still face a crowd! Great shots.

Look it up?

You write with certainty that Alan Sabrosky is a fraud and expect me to find the evidence that you surely know--and could post?

I'm calling your bluff.

Well, any moron could find it by just googling his name. The sources were frankly too numerous. I really don't care what you think.

This is admitting you didn't look at the video of other explosions, yes?

Oh, but I did. And your buddy Alan Sobrosky is a complete fraud. Look it up!

About explosions: You are naive (or another devil here) to link all the explosions to the breaking of windows and the planes hitting the Twin Towers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UKfzGt6Fxk" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UKfzGt6Fxk

Here is an interview with a former Director of Studies at the US Army War College who identifies ISRAEL as a key conspirator in the 9/11 attacks:

You forgot about the ruptured gas lines exploding. But you have proven my point, you do need a therapist. I think Dr. Phil could help you out. If you think for one minute that any rational person takes anything you say seriously, well sorry, you're just kind of fun to screw with.

Wow, wow, wow. I cannot believe some of the rhetoric going on in these posts. Firstly, I can believe there were explosions, the first being when the planes hit the buildings and the fuel exploded. Then there would be explosions when the gas pipes ruptured and when windows imploded. There was so much racket how could anyone distinguish one sound from another, let alone the panic that was going on.
Secondly, you two people that are saying it was some kind of Jewish conspiracy, Is that what you really said? And the remark about the memorial was just so unbelievably callous. As for the guy in the YouTube video that goes there every day. What is that all about? Not normal at all. I was never going to way in on this but just couldn't stand some of the stupid talk that was going on and wanted to add my two cents. Why don't some of you poor people get a life and some much needed therapy, I think you know who you are!

Actually, John Wayne did where a hat similar to yours in The Searchers. But I guess that's beside the point. Actually I think I've lost the point of this whole thread. ;-)

I have no nerves - I am my own man. Again, if you were to read and understand, credibility described the opinion you ventured - which, as a newbie, was hardly appropriate. i.e. wait until you grow up.

Would you please give me a timeline as to when you can bestow upon me the status of no longer being a newbie. What does it take for someone to reach your esteemed status on this forum. I don't think mentioning civilized conversation is inappropriate or showing lack of maturity in this or any venue. Your calling me out over my comment not only demonstrates a lack of maturity but just goes to show what horses behind you are. We're done.

Well when you've been a member for a bit longer perhaps your opinion as to how this forum should work will gain more credibility

Wow, I didn't realize that being new to the forum had anything to do with credibility. Based on some of the feed back you have been getting on your comments I'm not sure your tenure on this forum means anymore than my newness. I think before you conclude anything about a person you need to pay attention to their words. I suspect what I said may have struck a nerve.

All of this talk about the the 9/11 museum is very worthwhile. Since I haven't seen it, I'm really not in a place to comment one way or another. What I do find offensive, and it has nothing to do with political correctness, has to do with have an intelligent discussion without resorting to name calling and being insulting. It does nothing to further your case or validating your opinion. It just makes you look stupid. I'm not naming names, but you know who you are. I think the idea of a souvenir shop does sound distasteful, but I suspect there are other avenues to address peoples concerns about this other than a photography forum. Now before anyone goes off the deep end I realize that this part of Ugly Hedgehog is supposed to be on other topics, but still find it an odd place to discuss political issue when we are all interested in photography.

I rest my case.
So now we have a predictable, pathetic troll, that although has had ample opportunity to engage in civil debate, can come up with nothing more than insults, and attempted character assasination based on ...shall we say "misrepresentations of the truth".

JimGuy I don't think that guy was even a Marine. No one who was a Marine ever uses the term ex Marine. Once a Marine always a Marine. Isn't that SBW guy just a hoot. He is obviously mentally ill, he probably deserves our pity more than our derision. I think you made the point in an earlier post not to bother engaging him. He has no clue what civil discourse is, I got a couple of private posts from him and answered one and then realized I was getting caught up again, but now I just ignore his idiotic ranting. You and I are on the same page.

Let me clue you in on something wise guy. Before you become a wholehearted supporter of this JimGuy clown you may wish to go and read some of his posts especially some of the things he has said to and about our Military Combat veterans. He has a deep seeded dislike for them. If you support that asshole then you can join him as the lowest form of life. DO YOU HATE OUR MILITARY AS WELL? DO YOU DISRESPECT OUR VETERANS AS HE DOES? If you do then you are worthless.

Okay, bud. You need to go back and read everything JimGuy has said, just because I have a day of leisure, I went back and read every one of his posts and never once did he say what you are accusing him of. He made a comment about one guy and his attitude. He never made a blanket statement about the military, other than it's bloated budget, and he never in anyway shape or form denigrated military veterans.
