I have my lights set to auto so they are always on when the car is running. I wish everyone would do that. There have been times when I saw a black auto coming from a heavily shadowed area of overhanging trees that made it virtually invisible until it popped out into a sunlit area. I also was behind a gray auto in a heavy rain storm that did not have its lights on. It was late afternoon and the car was very hard to see. I kept well back because I was sure a car coming from a side road was not going to see it and cause an accident. Some people are knuckleheads and a law that would make autos have lights on when running would keep those idiots from harming others.

I agree about dark cars. With the exception of one car, all my cars for years have been white.

I just noticed a new TV series "Photographer" starting on National Geographic channel tomorrow (Monday the 18th) with the first two episodes at 8:00 Pacific time.

For those in the central time zone: Direct TV has the series starting at 7pm. NatGeo is channel 276 on Direct TV.

Are you saying that a credit union based in the UK will be alright for me?

You might check near where you live if you are going to remain in the US. Most are federally insured to a certain amount. Donโ€™t know about transferring your retirement funds, but might be worth checking out. I think most credit unions are basically depositor owned (mutual). Mine is a very large one and has a number of branches in Texas. In 53 years it has never made a mistake on my accounts.

Might consider a credit union. I switched over to one for my accounts over 50 years ago. Usually lower car loan interest rates and great customer service. Mine is big on security and fees are almost non-existent. Just my 2 cents worth.

Because I consider spellchecking a form of AI. With phones and computers, you virtually have to override anything you write where you find spellcheck has inserted a different word than the one you want. I often have to erase and redo a word because the computer misinterpreted what I wanted to say.

Yup. I agree. I sometimes wonder why some people canโ€™t take a few seconds to proofread what they write before posting it. Are they lazy, or do they just not care? Generational thing?

To me, thatโ€™s the great thing about digital photography. You can take as many shots as you want and see the results while doing so. By studying them, you can get a good idea of what you might change and work from there. Good luck!

D7000, D7100, D7200, and the D7500 served Nikon very well. These camera's will give pro results in the right hands. The D7100 is a great camera designed to allow the photographer to capture fantastic images.
Again, any camera is only as good as the hands that operate it.
Good luck and keep on shooting until the end.

I have both the d7000 & d7500 and found them both to be very capable. Especially love the d7500 using it with my Nikon 18-300.

Hello my photography friends. Its been a very long time since I have been here. A lot has happened in the past to years. My wife and I have built our retirement home in Tennessee. We wanted to do this two years ago but something happened that would test my resolve and physical being. June 17th of 2022 I was in a very bad accident. I was hit by a dump truck while working. The truck was doing 55 mph when it hit me. threw me over the guard rails and more than 50 feet. As you can guess I had some very bad injuries. I was in the hospital for four months and countless physical therapy. Just finished my last therapy session. I am mobile with a walker or a cane. I have learned patients and other ways to accomplish task. I am going to start my photography training after we get settled in our retirement home. I couldnt move my legs for a long time In the accident I broke my left hip my left pelvis my right knee tore my left achillies and internal injuries. Life has been very challenging but i am no quitter. It's been a big fight. Now I will try to get back into my life that i enjoy. Photography and my wood shop. there will be learning curves but I will achieve. stay tuned my friends. And please be safe out there there are careless people out there.

Anyone know if an aftermarket eyecup for the viewfinder on a Lumix fz200. On the original eye piece, my nose keeps bumping the diopter and I have to keep adjusting it. And no; my nose is normal size.
