I love the one about the note on the wife. My wife is a big note person -- she often tells me to make a note of this or that. I explain to her, if I'm going to forget something, doesn't it stand to reason that I will forget to read the note or not remember where I left the note as much as forgetting the thing the note is for?
Actually, my memory seems to be getting better as I age. I remember where I left something better than when I was younger. The only thing about my memory is at times forgetting a word. I have always had a good vocabulary but sometimes when I want to express a certain view or remark about something, I have to search for the right word to use.
