Chase down the computer issues (likely need upgrades ?). ON1 2023 is a real break-thru to state of the art leader in many aspects. It is performing very fast response and no bugs showing up so far on my mac mini M1 (2021). They have updated the state of art masking AI already - they are responding to suggestions and user feedback. The whole workflow for me has decreased time spent on each image - and creative options for Effects are broadening my experimentation and treatments. Hang in there - it's worth it.

The recent upgrade to ON1 2023 fixed most of the bugs related to GPUs - initially there was an issue with NVidia cards. Make sure that you download the newest version and install it as administrator. Should fix your problem.
My first install worked fine with Nvidia GX 1080, but not with my more recent GX 3080 card. Everything worked fine after the update. the latest version of Photoshop initially had problems, but I applied the fix which 47 Greyfox describes and everything worked fine.
Make sure that you have the latest drivers for your video cards, too!

I'm on a PC desktop with an NVIDIA graphics card. I know this doesn't apply to your settings but here's what you would do if it did (for others).
Open the NVIDIA Control Panel.
In 3D Settings, select Manage 3D settings.
In the settings screen, select the "Program Settings" tab.
Under number 1. Select a program...., add the ON1 executable application (you'll have to browse the program folders to find it).
Then, under 2. Specify the settings....., select CUDA - GPYs, select the drop down menu and select "Use these GPUs" and click the box corresponding to the GPU
Click on "Apply"
Exit and "restart" the computer.

I’ve been buying and using ON1 PR since 2017 and have upgraded every year including last month to the 2023 version. Yes, I’ve had issues and annoyances, especially when a mid year release in 2018 or 2019 required me to upgrade my graphics card. Speaking of which if you don’t configure your computer to have the GPU do a lot of heavy lifting while running ON1 PR, you will likely experience poor/deficient performance. There’s a help page on ON1’s website that lists recommended configuration changes to facilitate better performance. Good luck!
