A few shots of the hummers at my feeder. They're not actually in flight, I guess. I'm still working to get a good shot of one hovering.

There is a VLBA radio dish antenna across from the Sproul ranch (google it) which would make an interesting foreground. They also run the Harvard Lodge in downtown Fort Davis. The ranch is only about 5 miles out of town, but it is very dark there. I stayed at the Sproul for a week a few years ago specifically to do astronomy. You might need their permission to be on the property, but the radio dish would be pretty cool in a photo. Here is my attempt. I'm sure you can do better.

In Lightroom go into the Develop module, click on Photo in the menu and then Flip Horizontal. You can select multiple photos and do them all at once.
Unfortunately there does not appear to be a keyboard shortcut, but maybe someone can suggest a way. I think you'll have to look at each slide individually to determine if it needs to be flipped.

Nice set up and great equipment. Which of those tiny specs is Earth?? I know, I know dumb question. But here is another question that I think isn't quite as dumb: why do you use such a high ISO? I rarely go over 800, but then I shoot wild life in the daytime.

The night sky is quite dark, which requires long exposures, fast lenses and high ISO. Even then it takes some Lightroom magic to get it looking good.

I also posted these in the Long exposure forum. Both were taken with my Canon 7DM2, Tokina 12-24 F4 lens at 12mm. The star trails is numerous 30 second exposures at ISO 1600, F4 stacked together. The 2nd photo is one 30 second exposure, F4, ISO 3200. That is my 16" F4.5 dobsonian telescope in the foreground.

Here is a series of 30 second exposures stacked up to show stars revolving around the North Star (Polaris). As luck would have it, a satellite passed right through the center of the photo. Canon 7D Mark 2, Tokina 12-24 at 12mm, F4, ISO 1600. The foreground is a group of telescopes set and observing the night skies. The stacking was done with a free program called StarStaX.

Two of my favorite hobbies are astronomy and photography. Naturally these two combine to give me the chance to take some photos from awesome dark sky sites. This photo was taken in the panhandle of far western Oklahoma. Photo taken with Canon 7d mark 2, Tokina 12-24mm lens at 12mm, F4, 30 seconds at ISO 3200. Not bad for a crop sensor and a "slow" F4 lens. My 16"f4.5 dobsonian telescope is in the foreground.

I viewed the RAW photos in IRFANVIEW and they looked OK, so I went back to LR and tried the Reset command. It worked! I thought I'd done that previously, but I guess I did not. Thanks everyone for the help.

Reset didn't do it. A whole sequence of photos has this effect, and the diagonal line rotates a little bit from on photo to the next. I think they may have gotten corrupted when I copied them onto my external hard drive. The last is mirrored. There are several photos like this too. I don't think LR can fix that. PS could.

I "think" they were correct before. I would remember the reversed photo as being bad. Now that I think about it, I did move the files from my internal "C" drive to an external drive, using LR's file explorer. I'm not sure if that caused the problem or not.

I have a directory where some photos are showing a diagonal where the exposure changes and some photos that are mirror images and some that are just rotated 90 degrees. Some photos are correct. Here are examples. I deleted and rebuilt the previews and I turned off the graphics processor but the problem persists. The originals are RAW and I have Lightroom create XMP sidecar files. Can someone provide guidance to correct the situation?

I just happened to get an email this morning from B&H. They have their X-Rite ColorMunki Display calibrator on sale today for ( March 7) $99.95. This discussion prompted me to order one.
