Here is a series of 30 second exposures stacked up to show stars revolving around the North Star (Polaris). As luck would have it, a satellite passed right through the center of the photo. Canon 7D Mark 2, Tokina 12-24 at 12mm, F4, ISO 1600. The foreground is a group of telescopes set and observing the night skies. The stacking was done with a free program called StarStaX.
That shot is absolutely amazing; a once in a life time happening! The frosting on the cake is that it is an excellent photo along with everything else!
