That sure sound like just what I was looking for though. Darn !!!...Oh oh....I think I found it. The list of Watched Posts has the little sign shown. It's just to the right of the title of the post. Now I have to wait to see if it works as I've seen the posts I'm so far following. Time will tell if this is just what I was looking for but it appears it is.

How do you get to the page you showed a picture of?

With dslr sensor sales falling, sony had to do something to absorb the capacity of their silicon fab investment.
My only worry with sony is they tend to hit a market, skim off the easy money and then move on,
leaving a bunch of orphans and a fragmented market..

I don't see any such symbol on the original post of this thread, nor on any of the replies. What am I missing?

perhaps you need more than one page to get arrow for more pages.
I have only 1 box checked in profile, (hide home page discussions)

... After reading the posts on an interesting thread, I hit my browser's 'back' button. That takes you back to the list of "New Topics" right where you left off. ...

That is the one feature i value most on this site.

It's a composite, but very well done. Spending a lot of time doing shelter photography I can tell you this would never happen. They are all in focus. Love it!

Now you've gone and ruined it all.
As a picture it was magic.
As a composite it is just PP.

Hmmm.....I didn't really want to get an email all the time but just be able to go to the thread and auto-magically start viewing all unread posts. I've now checked a bunch of stuff that wasn't checked in my profile so who knows what can of worms I just opened.😀

Not in your profile, make your selection at the top of the thread itself when you first open it.

reading over the 5 pages i haveseen no mrntion of preventing sticking in the first place.
I have never had one of my filters freeze.
I may be because i rub candle wax on the threads before mounting the filter.

select a thread you want to view and go to the top line and select unread only or slide over to the right and select a page you wish to jump too.

A recalcitrant jar lid? I love it! A lid with attitude.

I'm fortunate, most my jar lids are only reluctant.
